The location is great the interiors are old school Hoboken Italian. But you’re going for the incredible food. The best appetizer menu, the Mussels are huge and delicious the Eggplant Rollatini and Artichokes are amazing the Chicken Duet The Sunday Sauce and stuffed Veal Chop are fantastic. I wish my Nona cooked this well. The specialty is the Vodka Sauce. Full Bar and different live entertainment during the week. If you are a fan of “Italian Family Style” Huge portions (Carmines NYC) and low prices you have to go the sign still says al-di-La.

I really enjoyed the italian kisses, meatballs and grandma’s lasagna was the best I’ve ever had! The staff is super friendly, and the owner loves to personally meet and greet the customers. Highly recommend.

Had a good appetizer but our entree food didn’t met our expectation on the taste we are looking for. We ordered fradiablo pasta instead we got a marinara pasta. As we knew about that dish should be spicy and they served it to us so differently. It also took a long time for our food to be served. Overall the place is clean and nice, we like the ambiance of the place.

Flavorful high quality food, friendly service, and a romantic atmosphere to boot. The one thing consistent about Al Di La is that the food always is delicious. Even a simple Caprese salad is elevated with higher quality ingredients. If you like meat, the mixed grill was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The Italian dumplings and eggplant rollatini were simply delectable. Do your taste buds a favor and experience the food here.

served me the weakest drink I’ve ever had in my life to the point where I don’t think I’m going to order drinks at restaurants anymore because it’s a waste of money. at multiple times I questioned if it even had alcohol in it. food was very mediocre and needed more seasoning. the waiter was really nice though, which is the only reason I’m giving 2 stars, but it took forever to get anyone’s attention for the check. also charged a surprise fee for sharing plates after we already ordered.

Food was good . Service very good. The only thing I didn’t like that paying cash for $44.00 and it becoming 47.95 with FEES and food and liquor tax. Rip off. Everything today is soo expensive living on soc security it cost me $60.00 to go out to eat.

Just had dinner at Al di LA- Dominick’s. Service great, dinner was outstanding had Veal Ossabuco. No need for a knife, so tender, will definitely be going back – BUT, not on Wednesday. Karaoke. Horrible.
