I recently had a disappointing experience at Domino’s in Shelton CT. Despite ordering the correct items, I was sent the wrong order. When I contacted the store, I was promised that the correct order would be delivered in one hour. However, it never arrived. To make matters worse, the store manager blamed the lack of staff and left me to deal with the issue.

The salad was expired and the pasta was like a kids size. There was such little pasta it did not even cover the bottom of the pan. Very little sauce on the pasta which made the noodles hard as they bake it in the oven. Horrible!

Wish I could give them zero stars. This is the second time in 2 months that I’ve ordered for immediate delivery and have waited well over an hour. The first time, in July, after 1.5 hours I called to see if the food had left their store and they said no so I canceled. Today, I called after 1 hour 15 min, and I was told to wait longer. I shouldn’t be paying a delivery fee and a tip to wait 1.5 hours for cold, dry pizza. No resolution was offered by them, just “Sorry. We have one driver.” This is just not ok.

Ordering online was convenient. They didn’t include the dipping sauce although I did order it separately. I couldn’t go back to get it once I got back to work. Pizza is marginal at best but I have had worse. The pizza was hard to cut and as for tastewise isn’t wasn’t very good. CT is supposed to be known for very good pizza, unfortunately Dominos doesn’t cut it!

I order cheesy bread and had them confirm 2-3 times that there was no meat as I am vegetarian. They put bacon in it. When I went back to the store, they made it seem like it’s not a big deal. One of the individual said, it was only one piece right!?!

Disgusting. I get it right, it’s Domino’s, however, the pizza is just as terrible as their service. The pizza showed up freezing cold, looked like it had been sitting out and on top of it tasted like it had gone bad. When I called the Shelton location, the woman on the phone said “I don’t know what to tell you, what do you want me to do?” I asked if she was the manager and she said no and said the pizza was delivered in the hot bag I don’t know what you want me to do. I guess I expected better service, but why would I.

Food was fine. The last few times the app says the food is done and when I go in to pick it up, it’s still cooking. Also, I’ve tried delivery and the app showed it had been delivered, had to wait another hour before it was delivered. I think they hit the button to say things a done before they are so they can claim that the food is done on time, when it’s not.
