I wanted something flavorful, authentic, & worth the calories. You know a spot is good when the natives eat there too. We got there right on the tail end of their lunch rush, but the service was pretty quick.

My very first experience here and it was fantastic!!! I got cheese and jalapeño pupusa’s and they were delicious, fried plantain and a few empanadas. The empanadas are delicious!! The sweet girl behind the counter was so friendly and helpful because the menu is in Spanish. She gave me ideas on what to eat and omg!!!

First time trying Don Diego’s restaurant through DoorDash and It was okay. The cabbage salad they serve on the side for the Pupusas was very plain and no flavor. It tasted like cabbage and vinegar only. The pupusas overall they weren’t great nor bad. They came a bit raw I ordered cheese and loroco and chicarrón with cheese. I had to cook them a bit more on my stove…. Me and my family are a big fan of Pupusas but this time it was disappointing.

Everything here is delicious! It’s definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Powder Springs, which I know isn’t saying much cuz the PS restaurant scene sucks, but still. This place is simple in decor, but the food is great. I’ve loved everything I’ve had there. My favorite is the pupusas of course, and also the Salvadoran guacamole. ❤️❤️❤️

I dinner here and it tasted delicious. I ordered the Pechuga De Pollo A La Plancha. It is a grilled chicken, rice and beans, lettuce, tomato slice, a little avocado, and two small tortillas. I also ordered a Jarrito Mandarin. After tax and tip, I think I spent $13. Well worth every dollar. Would definitely recommend for a lunch or takeout with a friend or small group (2-4 max).
