The Shrimp Diablo is probably the best Diablo sauce I have had in my life, and I’ve had a lot. Perfect heat, a hood smoked anch flavor, and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. This is a friendly place. Good Cold beer also.

This was my first visit to Don Juan Cantina. It was lunch hour and there were several appealing lunch specials to choose from. Service and food were both excellent and our waiter had a great sense of humor!

Amazing food!! Service is awesome! It was our second time visiting, and the bartender was so attentive and helpful with recommendations. Ordered the Ixtapa Fajitas, and the seasoning on the tilapia was outstanding!

Good value, friendly & well-timed service, taaasty food. Context for review: since we visited at 5pm on a beautiful spring Sunday, the restaurant only had a few other customers while we were there. Our group of 8 included 3 littles. They do offer a kids menu.

The food was excellent and fast. Service was lacking no attention after order and food, my tea glass, and salsa bowl sat empty 3/4 of my visit. I told the waiter that I was disappointed that my tea and salsa were never refilled. There was literally no attention after ordering and food drop off. My tea and salsa were already empty by the time my food was brought.

This place is the best! Best authentic Mexican food my husband and I have had, we’ve traveled so it’s saying alot. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The service does not get better. The food…well that’s to die for. If I lived in Owatonna we would be regulars. Every visit has been exceptional. It just keeps getting better. They even serve homemade Sangria and the BEST Mojito, any flavor you’d like. Don’t pass this place up. We can’t say enough how amazing the food, staff ans atmosphere are. Can’t wait to return!!
