It can be hit or miss sometimes. Overall I love the chips and salsa. I enjoy their fajitas. Leo has been our server for many years and is totally awesome. I also have had great service in the bar area.

Red sangria was awful. Not sweet or fruity. Fresh guacamole was not fresh. Tasted like it came out of a prepackaged container. Burrito bowl was just a mess. I asked for no rice. When dish arrived it was like a soup. Asked waitress if that is what it was supposed to look like and she stated the rice normally soaks up the liquid. If that is the case then I should have been told that my request would not work with the dish. Oh yes, I ask for steak and it came with ground beef. Worst meal ever. I hardly ate anything.

We spent the afternoon looking for a Mexican restaurant that also serves alcohol and settled on Don Pablos. We are from out of state so we were glad when we found the restaurant, which was both not busy (off peak hours) and reasonably priced. The food was great and we’re still all a little bit too full! One of the highlights of the meal was our server Brittney. She was attentive, knowledgeable and fun. She made our table smile right away. My tilapia was delicious and the cilantro ranch dressing Brittney recommend for the salad was great. I liked the fact that the menu listed callorie content as well. We plan on stopping back next time we visit Virginia.

I didn’t like the taste to the food ….the chips were over salted. I asked for a strawberry margarita and you couldn’t taste the tequila. The long island tasted like sprite. We asked for queso we didnt have plates, they didnt give us strwas for our drinks. Also, the chicken burrito didn’t have much chicken it was more full of refrito and the refrito was horrible. I’ve been in plenty Mexican restaurants and this one for me is a No No. Not recommended at all.

Leo is the best bartender that don pablos has, he is very out going, funny, and loves to talk. We only come on taco tuesday because leo bartends and on Wednesdays to be in leos section. The chips and salsa is great, along with the food. Love this place!

This place was pretty terrible. I would rate the customer service a 2/5 and the food quality 1/5. Only the cheese and sauces made the food palatable and once you do get it down, you feel like garbage and want to throw up. Definitely never going back there again.
