Very nice Mexican restaurant in the heart of Tehachapi, as you walk in all the vibrant colors make you feel as if you were in a Restaurant in Mexico. I was greeted very well by the hostess and was given the choice to sit anywhere I wanted given there wasn’t many people. They have a full bar which is nicely stocked, my waitress Edna was super nice and informed me well of the food I asked suggestions on. Now, lets get to the important stuff. I ordered the Supreme Fajitas which have Shrimp, Chicken and Steak. Not your usual huge platters form other Mexican restaurants but enough to fill you with amazing flavor. The steak was juicy and tender as well as the chicken, the shrimps were plump and cooked just right. Rice and beans were tasty… the only thing I think they can improve is the quality of their flour tortillas to compliment the delicious platter. Highly recommend this restaurant if your in the area.

I took a friend there for lunch. I had the shrimp cocktail, fantastic she had fish tacos that were great. The bartenders were extremely nice. We ended up staying a couple hours. Really enjoyed it.

Don Perricos is great. They have an excellent selection of seafood. I also give the salsa 2 thumbs up. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. I would recommend Don Perricos for Mexican food.

Cold beer, taco Tuesdays are awesome, $1.69 tacos NICE and Thursday’s too! I believe it’s from 3-till close so get their early cause it does get packed. Nice atmosphere and very attentive staff.

I really liked the chilies rellenos as it was cheesy and had a nice little kick of heat. The taco basically disintegrated but tasted okay. But overall a pleasant experience.

They dont have ground beef tamales but they do have ground beef tacos. Hmmm, can you say frozen? The place is ok, but hate to see it go down hill.

This was the first time we visited since we moved here. They are charging 3.50 for chips and salsa. All other Mexican restaurants we visit are still free with meal. The food was ok. I think I liked the mini tostada the best. Everything else we just ok. Wish we had a better sit down mexican restaurant in town. I have not liked any and have to travel out of town for anything good.

Don Perico was a disappointing experience for us on our anniversary celebration. Although we requested for vegetarian food, the dishes were cooked with meat and had a strong meat smell. The polite service was the only positive aspect of our visit. On the bright side, the prices were good, but we would not recommend this restaurant for those looking for a vegetarian meal.
