DonQ had exceptional California/Mexican Fusion food. I wasn’t expecting too much from it since we entered very close to the closing time (around 8:51pm). So when we called them, they were very open to it and mentioned as long as we enter before 9pm, they won’t deny service for us (was pleasantly surprised by this given how most of the restaurants operate in the US).

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant having heard good reviews from friends. The menu is very ambitious with great descriptions of the food items. We each ordered something different. It took a very long time (Almost one hour) for the food to arrive even though the restaurant was not busy. We each agreed that we would have enjoyed our meals more if the dishes did not have so much salt in them. Just about the saltiest food I have experienced in any restaurant. I think the salt totally ruined any flavors that might have been present. The wait staff was friendly but not particularly knowledgeable about the product.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while traveling through on our way to Creston and we were super happy we did. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was DELICIOUS. As a vegetarian, I appreciated the wide range of options available—that were super good too!

We were recommended to try out Don Q’s. It’s a little out of the way, but a worthwhile stop. They were really friendly and quick, the food was tasty and well priced. It was a nice and comfortable atmosphere too.

The Mango Passion Fruit Ceviche was excellent. Very fresh and flavorful. The Asombroso Sopes and El Patron Chile Relleno were also excellent. We chose the poblano soup with our entrees and loved it. Large portions. The house lime margaritas were perfect. Service was very good. Highly recommend.
