Best dining experience we’ve had in a long time! Great team that got us seated immediately and served very quickly. Very well priced and the food is authentic and tastes so good. Family friendly and a merry atmosphere. They brought out a complimentary sampler sauces and salsa plate. Also tried their cheesecake desert and strawberry sauce which was fantastic. Marcos is an amazing host and great guy who made our dinner personalized and delightful.

Very glad we read the reviews before deciding on a place to eat! Great food, awesome service and a great atmosphere! We got the street tacos – a must try .. and our 8 year old got the chicken taco and loved it! Definitely recommend this place!!

So glad we found this little restaurant. Don Rizo is a cut above the other Mexican choices in this area (WV). Flavor, spice, ingredients (cactus! esquites! multiple options with variety, unique combinations, and not everything just smothered in cheese). The margs were excellent (house made sour mix, and not overly syrupy sweet), but the food was so good that they went forgotten for a bit. Will absolutely be coming back when we’re in the Fayetteville area.

We weren’t planning on going here but so glad we did! Amazing food, we had chicken and steak fajitas with refried beans and rice. The grilled lime added a zest to to the dish. The salsa was amazing along with the warm chips. Great portions, you won’t leave disappointed!

Delicious vegan options!! The tofu nachos were so good that we had to go back the next day for more! Their grilled tofu is very flavorful and we were surprised to find that they had vegan cheese for the nachos and a delicious chipotle lime sauce!

We stumbled upon this place while visiting the nearby New River Gorge NP. This place is a gem that is hard to find even in much larger towns. Excellent margaritas, we tried the cucumber jalapeno margarita and the dragon fruit margarita special, both were delicious and super fresh. We shared Birria nachos and steak fajitas and both were delicious and quite filling (there were 2 of us after a full day of hiking). Service was friendly, expedient and quite generous with the awesome chips and salsa. Only thing that can be improved is the veggies that came with the fajitas, they were a bit soggy. We’ll definitely eat there again if in the area!

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant we have been to! We were served a complimentary plate of their house-made sauces, as well as some of their meats. During our lunch, our waiter also brought us each a free t-shirt, and ended our meal with a complimentary sweet bread dessert, which was delicious! The staff was extremely friendly. While some reviews may say the food is bland, if you don’t have Gordan Ramsey as your personal chef, then there is no room to complain.

Shrimp tacos were very good. We also got the shrimp fajitas. The flavor was good but lots of veggies compared to the shrimp portion. The salsa was tasty and beer was nice and cold. We had the margaritas a few months ago and tried it again but not the same mixture. Not much lime flavor..will pass on it next time. It would be nice to have a few more options..burritos or enchiladas. Great waitress.
