First time going here about a week ago. Service was fast and friendly. They were very fast about getting a high chair for my child. Food was amazing. My husband had the monster burrito. He can’t stop raving about it, and he normally doesn’t have too much to say about the food he eats. So I know it had to be good. I don’t remember what I ordered now, but it was delicious as well. Pretty reasonable prices especially for the portion sizes. We will definitely be coming here again.

Loved the Marion and Carbondale location and this one is no different.. service is great. Food very good. And unlike the other Mexican restaurant in town the menu is updated and fresh..I’ve seen it change over the years .

The server was prompt and did a fantastic job. The food was well prepared and delicious. The atmosphere, however, would have been great, but they insist on having the music blaring like it’s a night club. While asked that they turn it down, and they did, only to slowly turn it back up like nobody would notice. Not a first choice for us. Probably last resort.

Since this is a restaurant, I’m giving it one star because the food was absolutely TERRIBLE. My family went here when the place first opened for my father’s birthday, and needless to say I was embarrassed for recommending it. The serving sizes are decent, but really pricey for what they give you. The food looked unappetizing before we even bit into it. Half of my plate was cold, and the other half had steam coming off of it! My brother compared his steak to a car tire due to how rubbery and flavorless it was. The presentation on the steak and the overall plating for the rest of our food was okay at best. We ended up spending 70 dollars total on food for 3 people. The service was okay, but the interior was really lacking. The windows made light shine in my eyes, no matter where I was sitting, and the seats themselves were sticky. If you want Mexican food locally, just go to El Jalepeno for the cheaper prices and better food.

Never had a bad experience at the Anna IL location. The place is always clean. Never a long wait from the order of food to the food in the table. Staff is polite and not overbearing or intrusive but very efficient. The bar is very inviting to the eye, always clean as well.

Went there for a family dinner. The service was nice but the food was flavorless. The salsa just tasted like diced tomatoes blended together and the chips were very dry, including the rice. Our food barley had any flavor and was bland. Overall service was nice but prices are outrageous.
