This is a great place, food is awesome! Nice bar area, private large dinning room for party’s. I have been here several times and they never disappoint. Clean and well staffed. The reason for my 4 stars is the price. It is a little more than most places. Even drinks are a little high like teas and soft drinks. If your on a family budget this might not be your place. If your on a date , great place ! They serve Breakfast, lunch and dinner.they also make great coffees.

When I first moved to the Pasadena/Deer Park area I was looking for an authentic style Mexican restaurant. The type of restaurant that makes your grandma’s style tortillas. You know!? That home cooked taco. This place gets pretty close to that. I personally prefer a super thin fllour tortilla. This tortilla is a little fluffier. Flavor is absolutely there. Overall, the food is pretty good for the area and in comparison to their neighbors, it’s reasonably priced. The Piña Colada is a house made recipe and let me tell you! This drink is delicious! It’s not too sweet, not too strong. The wait staff is always friendly and courteous. Now for dessert and coffee! Inside of this little gem lies a hidden coffee cafe with amazing lattes and cheesecakes! All homemade recipes. They have non-alcoholic and alcoholic lattes!! I personally haven’t had an alcoholic latte yet, but they sound amazing. I personally liked the, Galletas de Coco Latte. I tried it for the first time yesterday! Sooo delicious! Not too sweet at all. Now for dessert! They have Pina Colada, Oreo, Pecan Praline, Original, Strawberry, Blue Raspberry cheesecake, just to name a few. We have tried the strawberry, blue raspberry, Pecan praline, and Coffee. I have not one complaint. The recipe is a little different than a typical cheesecake, but in the best way! You can get a whole pie, whole slice, or half a slice! You have to meet Miguel and his staff he will tell you all about it!! I love family owned and operated businesses. This is exactly that. Went for a late breakfast on Sunday, the food was good and came out quick. The service was great. Overall it felt refreshing atmosphere with the music that was playing. Noticed since I was last there, they now have more desserts available and a specialty coffee bar menu. from the coffee menu, I tried the carajillo and they nailed it, it was really good. My wife tried a latte and liked it as well… we’re looking to returning sooner mainly because of the Coffee bar addition to the original menu.

This place is amazing! Great food for a really great price. 2023 brought a spike in restaurant prices but this place stayed true and consistent with satisfying the customer. Absolutely friendly and welcoming staff to both us and our pup. Owner even came out to tell us our baby is more than welcome. I highly recommend this family owned spot!

Waited to get our drinks for 30 minutes. It took an hour and we still haven’t gotten all our food. The fajitas not even fajitas more like roast beef they cut up to look like fajitas.definitely not coming back and would not recommend. Nothing has any flavor . Leaving here to go eat something. It’s crazy because I see good reviews. I know you responded about it being a large party . That is still not an excuse for poor quality of food.

The Mini Churros and Penilolope were great! Perfect music playing and everyone was so helpful and made sure our dining experience was perfect! We usually go to Dona Chela #1, but #3 is definitely worth a visit as well! Good job, excellent margarita too!
