My hope is to eventually change this rating At the moment, I think this delightful spot has some work to do with improving the flavour of their food.

Grabbed lunch here after hiking at the Pinnacles and loved it!! Bean and Cheese Tamale was definitely my favorite but their tacos al Pastor was a strong contender.

Can’t say enough good things about Doña Maria’s!! I used to never eat out but I’ve made their pork tacos a weekly tradition (at the very least!). I’ve been here at least 8 times so far, and my meal is aways served hot and fresh with unbeatable flavor and prices. You can tell that everything is seasoned to perfection at every stage of the cooking process. The tacos & tamales are delicious on their own, but everything is ramped up exponentially by the salsa verde! The dolce de leches desserts are the perfect sweet treat to balance the spicy/savory afterwards. Best spot in Berea!

Passing through from HTX these are some of the best tamales I have ever had. The masa is buttery obviously seasoned with the stock of the chicken. The chicken taste so good and it’s moist. My wife had the bean and cheese, they were amazing. Also the sauce they put on the tamales are next level as well. Count your blessing you have a place like this here.

Very nice flavor and texture on these tamales. We had chicken and bean/cheese to take out. Great price, too. In the future I’d like to see different filling options besides cheese and chicken. Great new affordable lunch spot.
