I’ve tried a couple of their items here and had mixed experience- Starting with the good, their poke bowls are great! Do half salad half rice for the poke, full rice gives you barely any veggies and with full salad I end up missing the rice. Their yuzu soy is also delicious! I’ve tried tuna and salmon with yuzu soy and both of them are great if you get it half salad half rice.

Very delicious don! The chirashi (and fish) are extremely fresh, and their sushi rice is good. The staff are very kind, and the service is fast! I really like Donburi Station’s interior design—very clean, modern, and comfortable! Definitely would recommend coming here for authentic Japanese food!

Salmon Poke is one of my summer must have items. I like the portion and freshness here , always choose half rice half salad as base, together with yuzu soy sauce. Their Tonkazu (fried pork lion) and Unagi Don are super too. This place is small, only with a few sittings, so we usually do take out, they packed it well n safe.

04/28/23: I went there based on a friend’s recommendation. We got the Chirashi bowl and it was delicious and tasteful. The owner usually went out and check-in with customers on the taste of your food. He is super friendly and hospitable. One complaint is that this place is a little bit small so hopefully, they can expand the area a little

My Aburi (Seated) Sake Bowl was very good. A good portion for me. They have good amount of variety bowls. Prices are very reasonable. They cooked rice perfectly for my taste. It gets crowded easily for lunchtime.

When my party and I arrived at the restaurant at around 8:12 PM, we understood that we needed to place our orders promptly as the establishment was set to close at 8:30 PM. However, our experience was hindered when one of the staff members engaged me in a conversation. They repeatedly emphasized that orders couldn’t be taken after 8:15 PM due to the restaurant’s policy. Unfortunately, despite the time-sensitive situation, the employee continued to talk, causing a significant delay in our ordering process. This unexpected interaction ultimately led to wasted time and a less than satisfactory dining experience.

I’ve had both the Unagi Don and the Shortribs Don. The unagi was good, but the shortribs were probably the best shortribs I’ve ever had, good lord. Perfectly grilled and seasoned, drool…. this place is a gem.

I got Chirashi for pickup. All the fish sashimi were fresh and tasty. Nice mix of fish and shrimp. Sashimi thickness was good enough for Chirashi. Sushi rice was good volume for an adult. Overall their food quality and price are well balanced and recommendation level. Will come back soon!
