We went there recently to try it out. It was Friday night, first impression, the service was very slow, we were in line for a good 20 min before we could order: even though they had 4 people working but it was not a very fast services. When It was our turn to order but they were still working to prepare the food for someone else who had already paid and was waiting for their food. There was a little chaos in process with people cutting line and ordering ahead etc. Finally it was our turn to order, at that point we decided just to get one wrap and try it. We ordered the wrap with meat doner. The lady that was preparing our food did not change gloves between wraps and was cleaning counters with the same glove. I did not mind it, as it is expected from fast food restaurants, but my wife was grossed out and did not like it. We did not make a fuss about it. We finally got our wrap and tried it. It was a “ok” doner, nothing especial. It did not have a lot of meat, it was a small amount of meat and it felt very greasy. so much so that my wife only had a bite and did not eat any more and I ate the rest. As soon as the food got a little cold I could feel the grease on the roof of my mouth. The price for the wrap was fair, I think this place is a good late night fast food restaurant after a long night of drinking. But not for lunch or diner. I would go back if I am out partying all night and drunk, but won’t go back if I am sober.

We’re regulars here. Normally the food is top notch and we get the Doner Kebab Rice Plate with chicken and beef. Today’s food was still very tasty per usual! The service on the other hand has kinda gone downhill but we never really felt the need to post about it. However, something we found today has really forced our hand to post about. My dad nearly choked on some plastic that you use to wrap up a loaf of bread. I’m not sure how someone left this in there. Maybe it was from some plastic used to wrap the vegetables in the salad and it mistakenly got mixed in? I’m sure it was an accident. But the workers need to take greater care with the food. Incidents like these could turn into lawsuits if someone like a child swallowed this… I love Doner G. But there needs to be a wake up call.

I had eaten at this place multiple times. It wasn’t bad. Then there was a time when they turned pretty mediocre with their food and made mistakes with online orders. But the last 2 times I went there they were back in shape. Maybe they got rid of the employees who weren’t able to follow simple instructions, or changed something else, but it got noticeably better. I am very happy this place improved. A place to go if you want a delicious wrap or Turkish fries (if haven’t tried it – take it as a recommendation).
