The food is delicious & the service is friendly, but the environment is not clean enough. I believe it is mostly the old, filthy carpeting which smells. That ruins an otherwise “go to” often restsurant for me. The whole dining room needs to be deep cleaned, & either new carpeting or even better just some new flooring.

The restaurant was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly as we chose to dine-in. The server, Summer, was quick and accurate. She was very attentive, but gave us our space to enjoy our dining experience.

Food was tasty and had good flavor! Liked the general tso chicken cause it was not much batter/flour and more chicken. Fish was ok cause the sauce for it lacked good flavor. Alittle pricey for some of dishes but overall, good food and service.

Great overall experience. The service was really great. The food was outstanding. My egg drop soup was so good, my shrimp and chicken stir fry was outstanding, and really good Chinese food. The atmosphere was very nice.

Dong Po is still our favorite Chinese Restaurant in Appleton. Cozy, warm & comfortable setting. Always excellent service. This time it was provided by Summer. We start out with Lettuce Wraps for our appetizer. We share our meal so our choice of soup is the Egg Flower & the main entree the Happy Family which is served on a sizzling platter. Consists of Shrimp, Scallops, Beef & Chicken with Chinese Vegetables in a brown gravy. Plenty fo 2. Many other choices with Japanese & also a made to order Sushi Bar.

The best Chinese food in Appleton. For about $15 per person you can get a very large portion size of whatever kind of chicken you’d like. I can guarantee that if you enjoy Panda Express you will enjoy this more. They’ve got both takeout and dine in options and have always offered exceptional service. One of the best options to consider for dining in downtown Appleton.
