I had a very nice time at Donnie Magoo’s this past weekend. Our waiter/bartender Jack was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and gave us good drink recommendations. I would suggest getting the California Burger and utilizing the back patio seating when it’s nice out.

Came here for the first time to meet friends and grab a quick dinner before seeing Jimmy Dore at the Cohoes Music Hall. The food was amazing, and they did a great job of accommodating our group. I’ve been back a few times since, and my experience has remained the same. I definitely would recommend this establishment. Their food is fresh, well prepared, and the Reubens are to die for, as are the fish and chips! (Potato chips and French fries are made in-house)

A group of us had dinner here before a show at The Cohoes Music Hall. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Several of us had the salad, others a variety of other options. Everyone loved the fries. Parking was adequate (one of us was handicapped) and it was a short walk to the hall. I’ll dine here again.

I didn’t catch the name of the bartender who helped us with ordering our food but he was super nice and friendly. He also checked in on us to see if we needed anything a few times but wasn’t overbearing. I’m not used to any additional service after receiving food in that kind of smaller venue with limited staff. The service was excellent and the burger was DELICIOUS. Thank goodness they didn’t skimp on the napkins because it was a bit messy but worth it. I had the bacon cheddar burger and my husband had a spicy chicken situation ( he can’t remember the name) that was really good as well. Live music, great service and food was so needed on this cold mid-week night.

Cool vibe here. We usually head down here after Rock the Block in Cohoes…. wish they served food later on those nights!! Nice little patio area out back and they frequently have live music!

Friendly bartender made me feel like I was a long term patron. The menu had quite a good selection. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with avocado mayo. Delicious! My sandwich came out in a very timely manner. Loved the seasoned chips, too.

Second time at this location and the food is 10/10. I know, crazy but I mean it! Good music and accommodating! Our bartender Matt was superb and very helpful! I highly recommend if you’re going off the beating path.

Stayed open late. Very accommodating. Made it a great place to hang on a Saturday night after a show at the Cohoes Music Hall. The drinks were great. The bartender was cool. The patrons were friendly. Not my first time there definitely won’t be my last.

WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO EAT HERE! Took over a hour and half for nachos!!! Outside of that everyones food (4 peoples) was cold, and took over a hour to get to us! The waiter asked what we ordered 5 times! I have worked in food service throughout college and HS and never felt like leaving no tip anyplace I go since going here.went to Bye-I brewery and realized it was a much better option

Used to be delicious! I went back and it was AWFUL!!! Did they fire the chef and replace him with someone with no cooking experience??? My steak was burnt to a crisp. My friend ordered a portobello burger and somehow they managed to burn that too?? Shameful. 0/10 would NOT recommend. Not to mention the 2 hour wait for the most disappointing meal I’ve had in a while.
