We went opening night and had the boaters beach pontoon sticks (pretzels), the Atwood tacos, the grant and cheesecake to go. I also had an Atwood breeze to drink. Everything was delicious and to be honest I’ve been craving those tacos ever since we left. Can’t wait to get back down there and sit on that patio again before summer ends!

We stopped in for lunch today at Donnie’s on the Lake. This was our first visit and I am happy to report we can’t wait to be back. The food was delicious. I had the campfire panini and my husband had the walleye. Our food came out quickly and it was hot!! Our server was excellent as was all of the staff. Highly recommend.

We had a party of 5 there this past Friday. I knew that it would be busy and it was. The staff was amazing! They all helped us with whatever we needed and were so friendly! The food was delicious! We had the corn cob appetizer and pretzels followed by pork chop, chopped salad and a po boy. The peach cobbler was outstanding! I highly recommend this restaurant

It’s fantastic. It’s pricey but the food and service was good. It’s a very diverse menu compared to before. Love the view from patio and the inside window booths. It’s going to be busy for the final months of nice weather, so you might have to wait, but it’s worth it.

I would love to give a great review but unfortunately I can’t . We had a reservation and were told the people at the table were still there as they’d been for 2 hours. The girl at the podium said it should be about 20 minutes. So we wait mind you with 4 kids. Half hour goes by and still nothing.Apparently we were invisible. We go to ask how much longer and the girl didn’t know so my son asked to speak to the manager. She comes out with attitude to see what was wrong. We tell her and she says I can’t ask them to leave. Then she turns it around on us. She says What if it was you sitting there? I said “You can tell them you have another reservation waiting politely”. She says “Well I could” but does nothing. She could have slid tables together on the outside patio but apparently she can’t think outside the box. I asked her if it was okay for her to let us sit there all that time while not saying anything to them? Apparently it was. I’m not sure who the manager is but she was of no help and could have cared less we were waiting by now 45 minutes. She would NEVER work for me. Your customer service is awful so I hope your food is better. Won’t be back or ever try it. That’s a shame as we had 10 people but it’s your loss not ours. We will let our experience be known to our friends and family.

Donnie’s on the Lake is an amazing place with amazing food!! The flavors that they have combined and put together are top notch!! The staff and owners are amazing people and they are doing a fantastic job!! Place gets busy so I would suggest a reservation or at least be kind and courteous and understanding if there is a wait!! Keep up the awesome job!!

Made a reservation for my birthday over a week ago. Confirmed for the day. When we arrive we were informed our table wasn’t available and they made us wait (10 people) for 33 minutes. When a member of our party asked for the manager to see if they could assist she had a nasty attitude and told us too bad. Wouldn’t recommend her to a dog. 0 stars if I could. Rudest customer service I’ve ever seen from a restaurant. And for the record I never cussed at anyone. You’re lying again!!!!
