The staff is wonderful and they deserve all of the praise- by staff I mean cashiers and the people actually handling the food. However the food is overpriced (especially if you’re on a forced dining plan) and overall underwhelming. It can be tough if you have any dietary restrictions, despite what they claim.

Most of the staff is polite but the food is very poor quality and highly overpriced (with hikes each school year!). Nothing is fresh and I’ve seen poor food safety practices too. They have very strange hours on the weekend. It’s a shame that RIC forces on-campus students buy the meal plan for here.

I get sick almost every time I eat here. The food is often undercooked. If some things are good once, often times it doesn’t taste good next time. Food often sits out for too long and is served cold on top of it.

Rhode Island College campus dining hall. The only dining hall on campus, aside from the small niche cafe areas on the east side of campus and the west side of campus. Okay food. Usually spend time doing school work here as it provides an unstifled work environment that allows for you to socialize and eat without much worry.

So I heard that they grow their own vegetables and fruit on the campus…and I gotta admit…they grow some darn good veggies! I be eating that salad like it’s the groceries! Drizzle some Golden Italian and mamma mia that’s a helluva lunch!
