Great old-timey burger joint right across the street from the fairgrounds. Super friendly and helpful cashier, tons of parking, and food couldn’t have been better. Kinda shocked to see a meal for two was nearly $50, but what isn’t expensive these days. Still, 100% worth it and will def be back next time we’re wanting a classic burger, fries, and shake.

Food is very tasty. Portions are VERY large. Lots of items to choose from. Shakes are very good, with lots of flavors to choose from. Banana shake had pieces of banana in it. Bacon burger was loaded with bacon. Lots of different sauces, all very good. Restaurant is clean and staff are very nice. Would definitely come back

We had the fish & chips. They used a panco to bread the fish, making it very crispy, for my taste to crispy for this dish, holding in the oil, greasy . Recommendation, a tempora or light batter, the fish itself tasted fresh, was good. The French fry’s way to salty! Oh, if u serve this dish always have a malt vinegar. The service was helpful and pleasant. Air conditioner for inside seating.

I’ve been living in the Puyallup area for several years now and have driven past this place countless times. While out and about, we decided to give it a try after having a hard time deciding what to eat for dinner(not uncommon). First off, great location right off Meridian and the freeway, plus it’s in front of the fair grounds. It is super easy to get to. The lady taking our order was nice and respectful, my wife and I both ordered the “Don Burger” I got the 1/2 pound while did the 1/4 pound, an order of the crinkle fry’s, and a fountain soda all for under $30. The burger was ok, I have had better and I have worse. The patties were a little on the dry side but other then it was just your regular cheese burger. The fry’s were great, they were hot so they were fresh. It was a nice a day so we sat out front and watched the cars drive by while we ate. Will we eat here again, probably since we try to support smaller ma and pa businesses. Will I crave it, probably not. But if you are looking for an easy place to get to right off the freeway(512), then I would recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite to eat.

Stopped here after a event at the fairgrounds. Burgers were on point and had the perfect amount of toppings and condiments. My child absolutely loved the nuggets. Not pictured but the milkshakes were absolutely delicious 9/10. The thiccness was near perfect. Highly recommend stopping here instead of blowing a load of money at the overpriced food at the fairgrounds.

After a disappointing day at the Lego Brick Fest next door (don’t waste your time!) I decided to salvage the rest of the day by finding some good old Americana diner food to ease the pain. I tried their 1/2 pound bacon burger and that did the trick! Quality hamburger and perfect, crispy, thick-sliced bacon. All of the usual sloppy toppings which lead to what I call a “death grip” delight. Once you pick it up and start eating, you better not set it back down again until you’re finished! 4 hours later I was still satisfied from the one hamburger. The inside seating area is “compact”, to say the least. You almost feel like you’re an employee since you’re so close to the action. All in all, a great lifesaver to a less than perfect start of the day!

It was ok, nothing special. Fries were great. Burgers was plain, really no favor. I asked for a basic chicken sandwich.. lol I guess I got my wish. Lol. I don’t think I’ll go back to expensive and just didn’t hit my I need to come back feel.

We stopped by and there were a lot of people but we got our food quickly. Delicious burger. The french fries, wow! Best I’ve had in a long time. I was surprised at how many fries they gave us. Definitely will be going back.

First time here and wasn’t sure what to expect. Inside is not great but clean enough to sit and eat. The kid at the register was friendly and helpful and the Monster Burger was delicious! Fries were good, too. I’ll definitely be back.
