This review is a year coming….I took my family to Don’s while vacationing. I have been thinking about this place since. The burgers were awesome, some of the best quality I have ever had. Never in my life have I ate somewhere only to dream about the food a year later. The folks working there are pretty great too. Great service and friendly. If your a traveller even just passing through…. Stop… Even if your not hungry…. Stop…. Get some burgers.

This place has truly delicious, relatively inexpensive American food. I love that it’s original. I’ve never seen a drive up food place like this one before. The way the burgers are made with pure beef. It is ground and pattied fresh daily. The burgers come with ketchup, mustard, pickle and onion.. you can always ask to add lettuce to the burger. Make the condiments how ever you’d like. They have 4 different ways to order fries. They can be straight, wavy, curly or tots. I’m such a limeade fanatic and it sure is delicious. I would highly recommend giving this place a try. Not many of these old school drive up food places left. Friendly service. Not the fastest but it doesn’t need to be. It’s all about service and the customers. Cash is highly recommended.

This is the best small town burger joint ever! When you drive in and park you get the distinct impression you’ve taken a step back in time. They have a wonderful menu including shakes, burgers and curly fries. I highly recommend the fries! You won’t regret stopping at this wonderfully refreshing little icon to the past!

This place needs some attention and new paint. It looked closed as we pulled up, but the food was very good in a classic drive in way. More fun than a Sonic, but they were having problems w a fryer or grill while we were there.

Was good food for what I got. Think the price was very high unless on a 21$ order their was 7$ in tax. Got 2 super cheese burgers and 2 junior a cherry limeade with chicken nuggets. Manager took our order couldn’t inform us that they were out of pickelos. The NEW waiter had to inform us as we were paying. Total bill was 27.07. When we added everything we got up the total would have been 21$ and 2$ in sales tax. Overall good food, just make sure to watch your receipt.

So glad we stumbled upon this little gem. The burgers were so fresh and delicious. The fries are amazing and so are the pickelos. Make sure to go after 2pm so you can enjoy their amazing shakes. It’s gotta be homeade ice cream. Loved everything.

Be careful. It looks closed. The burgers were great! No shakes until after 2 pm. The jalepeno poppers were fantastic, so were the pickle-os and curly fries. The onion rings were disappointing. Serving size was small except for the burgers. They make it while you wait and it took waaay longer than you’d expect. It’s worth the wait.
