Food in the restaurant was really good. Husband said hamburger steak was the best he’s had in years. BBQ Nachos were good. However, we bought a watermelon ($10) on the way out at the fruit stand. Two different employees insisted on “checking” it to be sure it was good. Even gave us advice about what it should sound like when thumped. Got it home and it was rotten. We live in north Florida so there’s no way to go back and return it anytime soon. Very disappointing.

Glad to have a place for a great meal with family and friends. Have only perused a few items off the menu so far, but all were outstanding. Brisket was fork tender, pork had great flavor, thighs were juicy and all the sides tasted great.

Didn’t have to wait long on a Saturday night. Waitress was super friendly. My husband ordered the Smiley Special, which he enjoyed. He did, however, get 2 wings and brisket instead of 4 wings, no brisket, which is what the menu stated. It was fine because he enjoyed the brisket more than the wings. I ordered the BBQ cheese fries as my meal, which I also enjoyed. They are new, but what they served us was very good! The staff was super nice and friendly. We will be back.

Great brisket every day, and excellent prime rib on Tuesday nights. One of our favorite local restaurants! Service is always friendly, and the owner regularly checks on seated customers. Can’t wait to try the margaritas. We have heard they are fantastic.

Claire was my waitress she is good. I ordered the brisket plate everything was fantastic even with an extra coleslaw service was good I could eat the brisket Cuts with a plastic spoon that’s how tender they were good job guys keep up the good work!

I ordered the side of sweet potatoes fries and a side of Brunswick stew. Both of them were awful. The fries did not have anything on them they just fried them and threw them in a box, no brown sugar and I paid $4 for something with no flavor. And the Brunswick stew was watered down and really oily. I use to work at a BBQ restaurant and they had some amazing food so I know Doodlums could do better than this. Also paid $4 for the stew and it came in a small 8oz container , wasn’t given spoons either. I did not like my first experience here, will definitely not being going back.

This is a Hidden gem that is sure to please if you like fresh fruits and vegetables. It’s from farm to table with no grocery store in between. And you can tell it is grown with love. The staff was friendly, and more importantly, my fresh veggies and fruits tasted great.

This is a nice little stop in rural Georgia for a meal or to cool off with some ice cream. I didn’t try the restaurant but I will be coming back later to do that. The peach ice cream was good but did not have any peach pieces in it, just flavoring. I bought some very nice peaches at the fruit stand. Not inexpensive but definitely good quality produce. Everyone was exceptionally nice.
