I decided to walk down the street to get tea or coffee. As I was getting closer to the corner I picked up the scent of something good cooking. It was Doozy’s Diner giving off that good scent. I popped in and ordered the Crab Omelette with Home Fries and Orange Juice. The food was worth the stop. I will visit again to try other menu items.

The food was decent but on the very high side for price. The burger and sandwich that we got was $13 each, and they charge $3 extra per plate for fries. The burger was 1/4 or 1/3 pound. The fish sandwich was good but on the small side for a $16 plate. The waitress asked us if we wanted fries with our sandwiches. I never thought to ask if fries were an extra charge at that price point. I don’t mind paying $16 for a plate but the more you charge, the higher I set my expectations.

Went on a Saturday morning soon after opening. It was busy, but we were seated right away. The waitress was wonderful and made sure to refill our drinks on time. It filled up soon, and I saw people waiting. It’s actually bigger on the inside than it looks. There’s a backroom and outside seating. All the food was delicious, they have an awesome kitchen staff. Don’t forget the milkshakes! We asked for a little chocolate syrup, which is not standard. It was just the right size. My biggest compliment was how clean everything looked. That will make or break my decision to visit again. I will be back!

In Catonsville for family wedding. Had outstanding omelet (took half to go). My wife had delicious avocado toast. We also hosted a 30 person (including ~10 kids) evening (4-8 pm) family gathering. Food stations were varied, all delicious and artistically presented. Chris was excellent to work with remotely ahead of time. Event staff were personable an accommodating. Steve and Brooke came up with a last minute dessert option for one of my grands who couldn’t share in the planned menu cookies and cake. Highly recommend. Would definitely select Doozy’s again.

High hopes for breakfast but unfortunately the food is quite awful. No amount of cream made the drip coffee palatable. The Santa Fe omelette came with overly salted fried potatoes and the shredded beef inside tasted strange. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Drove past this place a thousand times and tried it for the first time today. Was worth the wait. Some of the best pancakes I’ve had locally. I had the banana maple pancakes. Eggs were nice and fluffy. Turkey bacon was delicious. My daughter had the blueberry lemon ricotta french toast. She enjoyed it. Fast came out faster than expected. Restroom was CLEAN!!! Highly recommended.

The breakfast and lunch menu has something for everyone and they don’t mind customizing. I had chipped beef with a fried egg on top, which was delicious and filling. They even had perfectly cooked scrapple! I appreciated outdoor seating and interior decor. Hope to visit again when in the area.
