I’ll start off by saying that if you are an out of towner looking for a great meal, diverse crowd, clean atmosphere AND even greater service, I’d recommend checking out one of the other many local restaurants in the area. I’ve been here quite a few time for corporate lunches and its been pretty standard, but coming here with a larger party of out of town guests seemed to be way outside of their wheelhouse. We waited over THIRTY minutes just for menus. Another thirty to be approached for orders… barely checked on for beverages. It was embarrassing to say the least for the host we were there to celebrate. Super busy night but still no excuse. The food was good but nothing to rave about… and the subpar service could’ve been what diminished the overall food experience. Hire more servers and staff, D’oro! That would be a start to improving your customer service.

Yesterday we went to have dinner in this place and I was surprised, everything we ordered was very delicious from the start, the main course, the wine and the dessert. This place is very nice. The atmosphere feels very good and the attention was excellent.

By far the most spectacular dining experience. The food and service were outstanding. We came last night, on Valentine’s Day, and we were not disappointed. We had the Calamari Fritti, Insalata Giulio Cesare, Pollo al Piacere and Lombata di Maiale con Giambotta. For dessert, we shared a lava cake. Everything from the food to the service was absolutely incredible. Everyone was super attentive and friendly; I truly enjoyed my experience there. I loved that no one was rushing you to eat, it was truly a perfect experience. We had forgotten to bring a bottle of wine and when we went to purchase one at the store nearby, they had just closed. The manager overheard this and was very kind to gift us one that they had. We were truly amazed at the wonderful hospitality and will most definitely be returning. It is a BYOB establishment, don’t be like us and forget to bring it! Luckily, they do have a liquor store less then 2 minutes away walking distance. I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed.

Very pleasant staff and food was delicious. Was there for a solemn occasion (repast) and the event seemed to be handled sensitively and beautifully the waitstaff and management. Need to park in the lot behind the building. Highly recommend .I don’t really like Italian but this was good.

Just had a very good dinning experience. The food was excellent (as you can see from the pictures). They had a burrata mozzarella on special which was amazing. The only flaw was the bread they brought out seemed to have been cut earlier in the afternoon and when the waiter dropped off the dessert menus he didn’t tell us they were out of three (bread pudding and lava cake were out and our two choices). We had the tiramisu which was the best we’ve had outside of Rome! Be sure to order it…

We had our son’s baptism at D’Oro and felt like we hit the lottery with Sam and his staff-Sam was so flexible and accommodating with our guest list, price point, and seating arrangements, and his staff couldn’t do enough to make sure our guests were comfortable and well-fed. Everyone commented on how delicious the food was and how nice the whole occasion was. As another reviewer mentioned, Sam has the special quality of making everyone feel like a VIP, and in an area such as this that feeling is priceless. We will definitely return as a family.
