This was our second time eating at Doro’s. Unfortunately it was not as good as our first visit where we had pizza. The rolls, which is what we were really looking forward to, was stale. I couldn’t hardly tear them apart. I had the penne Alla florentina and my husband had the cannelloni florentina. Mine was ok and his seemed to be missing the chicken. I had to give him some of my chicken. I was really hoping this would become one of our regular places to eat, but sadly it will not. We went on a Friday evening around 6:00.

Oh my goodness! My daughter and I ate there today and it was FANTASTIC! It had a great atmosphere, great service, and the food was probably some of the best Italian food I have had in awhile from a restaurant. I had their caprice salad and pizza and my daughter had their calzone. Their garlic knots and sauce was so delicious. The dishes were beautiful and tasted amazing! Their sauce is unbelievably tasty and just has such an incredible flavor! We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Wow, a new restaurant in Calhoun Georgia! There’s a restaurant we have to keep! Great food great atmosphere nice bar scene, relaxing and let me tell you about the food. It is amazing. Can’t go wrong with anything you choose for the menu! Also, the desserts are amazing.

I normally don’t do reviews but this place was pretty bad. I had the chicken parmigiana and it was eh okay I guess. Kinda like chicken tenders. My wife’s dinner was pretty rough too. The calamari was so overcooked it was like pork rinds dry. There were a bunch of servers but you couldn’t tell,they were all on their phones. We were right across from the bar and had to get up to get drinks. This place is mediocre at best. This picture is from the men’s room. Nasty

Great food above all!! Later found out this is their second location and food is amazing. The seafood pasta, chicken picatta and Francese, seen above are all amazing dishes to try on your first or next visit. Definitely will be coming back. Thank you doros.

I want to like this place. I’ve eaten there four times. Last night I ordered the lasagna. It just wasn’t good. All pasta and cheese, very little meat which was greasy and NO sauce. I’m not sure how you make lasagna without marinara. And here is what was strange. Our second trip there I also ordered lasagna. It was, I believe, the best lasagna I’ve ever eaten. Doro’s gets my “Henry’s Louisiana Grill Award” for least consistency. The service was slow. But at this point, I would still recommend Doro’s – just not highly.

Would definitely rate it 5 stars for quality of both service and food. Been there with colleagues on multiple occasions and never been disappointed. Only disappointment is when we showed up only to find out they were closed on Monday! As far as what to eat, you can’t go wrong from the entrees to the sandwiches and also the pizza. In terms of quantity, think twice about appetizers as the garlic knots are really good and are brought to the table anyway!
