This is not your typical Homestead establishment…in fact, we were very surprised to stumble upon it after getting a few drinks across the street. We weren’t hungry for a full meal, but snacked on some appetizers, which were okay (small portions and inconsistent pricing). We were warned by the host that service would be slow due to understaffing, but there was live music happening on the patio, which meant we didn’t even notice the wait.

Absolutely loved this place, went here because it said they had crab dip which is one of my very favorites.. My Boyfriend Loved It and thought it was the best he ever had. I would have lived it if not for the pepper, I’m not a spicy fan and there was too much for me.. i also got the cheese stuffed meatballs and they were excellent. My drink was wonderful… I loved the feel of the place, The staff was very friendly…would definitely like to go back sometime even though it’s about 2 hours from my house

This place is a real gem. First time there today for brunch, and we’ll definitely go back again soon. Awesome vibe. Brunch was amazing. We had Hail Marys, veggie eggs Benedict & potato pancake eggs Benedict. Everything was fabulous. Excellent service as well!

Five stars is based on the pierogies. We did a pierogi tour of Pittsburgh and tried as many of their top 10 places as possible. These were the best out of all of them. They were nice and browned, and came with a sour cream that had herbs in it, absolutely delicious. Flavorful, and the texture of the filling ( potato cheese jalapeno) was so silky and smooth. I’ve never had a pierogi in my life that had a silky mouthfeel to the filling. The sangria was pretty good too. The slice of chocolate zucchini cake was dried out and didn’t seem fresh, it was not good. Pretty cool atmosphere, the tables had different unique artistic tops, there was cool artwork on the walls, nice chandelier and lighting, and the wooden floor had a high shine lacquer on it..and they had blues music playing. Service was good.

Good food. We got the French onion, Caesar salad, chicken sandwich, and meatloaf. Our waitress wasn’t familiar with the beers they served, which was odd since they “don’t pour steel but pour beer”. Not the friendliest waitress either. Her reaction when my husband asked which beers are local was to say she didn’t know, with a scoff. (One of the beers was called Homestead Five&Dime, but she apparently didn’t know the names either as she asked us to order by menu number not name.) The place itself was nice and had indoor and outdoor seating.

There is a beautiful courtyard for al fresca dining. The wall of climbing ivy makes the otherwise hard space, lush and inviting. Service was outstanding with attentive staff prompt service. Crab stuffed salmon with string beans and horseradish mashed potatoes were perfectly cooked, though I would have preferred more horseradish in the mashed.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is very up to par. The Ribs here are fall of the bone and the sauce is fantastic. Also one of the few places around that you can get a Flat Iron steak! They have a decent craft beer selection on tap and the atmosphere is interesting. The owner spent a lot of time and and energy restoring an old building to bring the modern restaurant to life.

I was hired as a dishwasher the job wasn’t bad even though, the owner wanted me to do prep work as well without an increase in pay. Well, I was fired and now the owner refuses to pay me!!! He keeps lying stating he would mail it even though he said he would hand deliver it!! It has been a total of 30 days and the owner refuses to pay me!! Talk about Integrity. A small business owner. Some ethic values he has!!
