This place seems authentic. Nice decor. The chip and salsa are good, I like that the salsa is spicy. We ordered carne asada and fajita. The meat in carne asada is tender and juicy, but the whole dish lacks flavor. The fajita with beef, chicken and shrimp is over cooked. We were a little disappointed. Maybe we try different dishes next time.

Dos Agaves is a good Mexican Restaurant. It’s a no frills restaurant, with very good service and affordable prices.

We visited Dos Agave for the first time on our trip to Marysville, Washington recently. My husband read goid reviews of this place so we decided to try it. We were surprisingly delighted to see a colorful happy atmosphere. The tables were big and clean, the decor was nicely done. I didn’t like how the booths felt when we sat so we moved to the table bench seating instead. The seating in the booth was too low and tight to the table for me and being short doesn’t help at all.

This place has the absolute BEST fried ice cream I’ve EVER had… Every chance I get to stop by & grab some, I jump at the opportunity. The way they make theirs here is just so much better than everywhere else that I’ve tried, It’s almost like they literally take Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, And deep fry that around a big scoop of ice cream & then take some more of the cereal & crush it up into tiny chunks, Then sprinkle them ALL over the whole thing, then add whip cream, cinnamon, etc etc on top… It’s making my mouth water right now just thinking about it!!!

The restaurant has its own twist on Mexican food, but that flex is not for everyone nor the price point. We gave dessert a try ordering the fried ice cream and flan. The ice cream I liked with the tortilla crust and cinnamon dusted over the top. The flan was not silky enough for my tastes and the whipped cream didn’t enhance the dish.. The staff is very accommodating with no language barrier making ordering and paying the bill easy.

This might be the best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in the Seattle area.

It’s okay. Average food. Salsa amount was very small in one single serve sauce container for the whole table. Menu was large. Parking is difficult. There is not parking in front of the restaurant. A few spaces in the alley and side street parking was only a couple spaces and full.

This is a small Mexican restaurant across from S Marysville Albertsons on State Street and 2nd Avenue. It was a very welcome environment. I was seated for one at a booth and the chips and salsa were delicious. Came very quick and chips were warm. Yes I could drink the salsa with a straw. I ordered some bean dip and it was a very large portion and very delicious. I ordered the seafood enchiladas which were cooked to perfection with just enough of everything on top that I love. I had three servings of salsa. So delicious. The flavors were perfect and just what I was craving. The service was great it’s in a convenient location and I highly recommend it.

This is the diamond in the rough, rough being Marysville in general. Their food is consistently good every single time. I appreciate that they know how to make a verde sauce. Las Margaritas has nothing on Dos Agaves.
