Waited 15 mins no drinks no order so we left.. place was dead with all the waitresses hanging around chit chatting. We ended up going to gribaldis and the same dish was $7 cheaper and got our drinks within two minutes.

The rice has peas carrots and green beans. Disgusting. They barely put enough lettuce cheese or sour cream on your plate. Over cooked food. I should have gone to Taco Bell. Margaritas were very warm. The waiter was sweet.

My food didn’t come out the way I wanted it, but my server Caitlinn was really good about correcting it even after I told her she didn’t have to. She was also very good with my son who made a mess and making him feel better about it. The staff is great, but they need to work on getting new cooks.

Over is wasn’t bad but I felt like my Chille Verde was way to tangy and the meat was hard usually. I can shred it to put in my tortillas but I ended up just eating it without my tortillas. Not sure what the story is on the different classes for a margaritas but we order two rounds and they cam in a small water glass then the second one was a bit taller glass but smaller than the first. Also who leaves the tails on shrimp had to peel them before he could make his shrimp tacos. But like I said overall it was good.

If you’re wanting Mexican food this is NOT the place. This is not authentic Mexican food. Saying this is a Mexican restaurant is a disgrace to real Mexican restaurants. Very disappointed with my “arroz de pollo” it came drenched in white cheese, not authentic. I had more cheese on my plate than lettuce for the salad.

Excellent place to eat at. The shrimp cocktail was flavorful and delicious. The service was amazing, and the drinks were perfect, michelada with Dos Equis and shots. I will definitely visit again on my next stay.

Dos amigos has a lovely atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and super helpful. They check on you often throughout the meal. We were seated promptly, our order was taken quickly, and our food took no time at all to arrive at our table. The food was hot and fresh. It tasted amazing. Definitely one of our favorites in Elko.
