The food was terrible and very pricey!! My chimichanga was super tiny and not worth almost 16 dollars. The rice wasn’t even Mexican rice, was just white rice with carrots and wasn’t even fully cooked. The owners were very unprofessional and you could tell they didn’t want us there. They were more attentive to the people that were Mexican, I definitely got the vibe that they didn’t care for us being there. Overheard one say something about Americanos and they all were laughing. Do not eat here

New management really tanked this place. This review is from our visit at 5:30pm on Sunday, December 11th.

Excellent food. Excellent Taste too!! Many options to choose from. They were able to accommodate our party of 11 with no issues. Will come back again!

First thing you’ll notice is prices are a bit extreme, especially compared to other latin restaurants. Prices on menus are cheaper than what we were charged as well, it seems they haven’t updated those but still hand them out. We had several entrees to test out the menu. A beef, chicken and pork dish. Though the food was good, it wasn’t as good as we were hoping, my wife is from Nicaragua and had high hopes. Though admittedly, meat here in the USA no matter what will not be the same as in Nicaragua, but the rest of the flavors, sides etc, should’ve been close to tradition. It was average overall. Our friends that have gone as well did share that the soup is fantastic and traditional but we were told that after our visit. Though we won’t make the drive out of the way again to visit here, we might one day stop in again if we cross paths to try the soup and see how it is.

The new owners made dos Caminos one of my least favorite restaurants. I used to LOVE this place, but recently my order has always been messed up. I don’t speak Spanish very well, but I understand it very well and they were talking bad about me while I was waiting for my food. Highly don’t recommend. This place is not the same as it was before. It was also $27 for 3 beef tacos, beans, and rice.

Stopped on my way through to Algoma. Nice Nicaraguan restaurant with Mexican food options. Service was great and the atmosphere is really nice. I ordered a steak quesadilla, combo pupusas platter and a Tona, Nicaraguan beer, light but with good flavor. I took half my food home with me as I wanted to try a couple things. I would definitely eat there again. Did I say the service was great?

i don’t even know where to start!!!! thought we’d stop here for some mexican food since were vacationing in the area. The menu online was completely different than the one in the restaurant. The food was absolutely awful. The waiter hardly spoke english so it took about 10 minutes to order our food. The portions are actually very embarrassing for the price they’re charging for their food. I think the atmosphere was the worse part, we heard them say “americanos” and were laughing. How do you run a business like this?? absolutely will not be coming here ever ever again if i’m in the area.

The menu has changed. While tacos are still on the menu, Nicaraguan food is now the main focus. The food was exceptional. Give it a try if you are in the area, you won’t be disappointed.

Not the same place. Terrible food. Steak is more fat than meat. They need to start by making a good salsa. The margaritas had zero alcohol just fruit juice. Unacceptable food quality and prices are outrageous for such poor quality. Never again!

We were getting our bikes tied up outside, and they saw us through the window. So by the time we entered the restaurant they had already set up our table with water, chips and salsa. Wow. We were just looking for a light meal, so we shared a burrito. You wouldn’t know that we were sharing an entree by the size of the burrito and extra beans and rice. They aim to please here. Friendly staff, clean, and tasty food
