Upon entering the place its got its own spin which is slightly comfty with a bar center stage and tables surrounding it. The menus being just a QR link or split between two boards you can’t see once sitting down can deter some people. I didn’t mind it but it’s worth mentioning.

We loved the unique menu and tried lots of different tacos. Some were awesome, some were not. Fresh juices were amazing. Staff was delightful. You can sit either inside or out.

mabe I hit them on a bad day I liked the bartender young kid may have been the owners son Idk he made a good margarita but some skinny guy with tattoos every where seemed like the manager he was mostly sitting and on the phone but he walked around like he was the manager so i asked him if my burnt birria tacos were supposed to be that way he said yea they have to toast it so it doesn’t fall apart and walked away. now that answer is not wrong but as a Executive Chef and small business owner it made my skin crawl the way he addressed it especially being it was clearly burnt i didn’t pull the executive chef card or how many times i’ve made REAL birria tacos i didn’t bring up the fact that they also wasn’t made correctly the shell should have been cooked in either the beef drippings and consume or at the very least lard. The bartender took it off the bill and said thank you for keeping the peace cause clearly they are burnt so i tipped him 50% and left because it was never about the money I will try them again i’m guessing they are pretty good they have good reviews but not on this trip margarita was delicious by the way

I love some tacos. I have been wanting to try this place for some time. We went around 8pm. The Birra taco was good. Just not the dip. No one greats you when you walk in. Another customer had to tell us to scan the table and you place your order through a app. Then you share it with your group so your order comes out together. Food didn’t come out all at once which is fine, it’s just different. Pricing is okay. For everything you see we paid $28. Side note. They have free water from a water cooler. You just have to refill. The place is cute and the atmosphere is nice. I will give it another try during the day. 50/50 for me.

Where to start! First off – phenomenal service. Immediately greeted and walked through the well designed menu. The lovely bartender, the owner, and the chef all made an appearance and told us about the food items, their opportunities to expand with a full liquor license, and told us a little bit about the history. The tacos were all very well crafted, unique, and the quality of the meat, seafood, and toppings were all fresh! Nothing better than fresh cut oranges with our tequila. Never thought I’d enjoy a meatless — beet & goat cheese taco but wow! Scallop & oyster taco (topped with soy boba) also made the whole experience simply amazing. Good job guys! We will travel back to Jacksonville just to support you!!!!

Had to go to the County Clerk so stopped by Dos Vatos Tacos for the first time. Great restaurant with bar and funky decor and outdoor seating. We chose to belly up to the bar and enjoyed a couple of thier craft cocktails as well as nice conversation with the two bartenders. They make much of thier cocktails from scratch no prepared mixes, syrups here. We had a Mother of Mango which was amazing!!! It was frothed with egg whites and rimmed in candied egg yoke. The mango was tart and the drink not too sweet with resemblance to a mango lassie. We also tried the Grandma’s Peach Tea which was light and refreshing and a great pairing with the tacos. The menu is infused with international flavors along with the traditional tacos. We had 2 traditional beef tacos, a beef QUESABIRRIA and a pork belly Taco along with chips, salsa and quacamole.

Had a very disappointing experience tonight. The tacos were absolutely awful and way too expensive. We spent 50 dollars on three tacos, some chips w/salsa and queso, and beans. We also weren’t allowed to customize our tacos which I find absolutely crazy, saying the cooks are “picky” about that is absolutely terrible service. Especially when I’m spending 5 dollars on a single taco, I should be able to eat it how I want to. I don’t understand why someone can’t take OFF something, it’s not like it’s going to make anything difficult or extra for y’all. I understand maybe not allowing adding things but we seriously can’t remove something? Ridiculous. The taco I received was terrible, my husband wasn’t even able to swallow it when he tried it. The beer he ordered was warm and tasted nasty. We were so excited to try this place by the reviews but it was a complete disappointment. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. Went down the street to Flying Iguana, amazing place! Spent less money there for more food. Five tacos, complimentary chips and salsa, beers and beans!

The tacos were excellent. Interesting ingredients, large portion and fresh ingredients. Staff very friendly. However the wait was VERY long. Upwards of 40 mins for only 5 tacos and there was only two other tables there. The Marg was heavy on the sour mix and lite on the tequila, would skip next time.
