The first time that I made Dosa for myself, I felt nostalgic. I was not sure what it was. The smell of ghee on the batter, the familiar crackling sound when the batter touched the pan and the delicate wrist action reminded me of my mother making the perfect circle with the ladle. Hailing from the culturally rich South India, I felt immediately at ease when I realised I had brought my home here with me as every South Indian house smelled of Dosa at least once every day. It is our staple food, our go-to dish when nothing else worked and the most comfortable and quick choice for a tired, overworked, and hungry member of the house. You can never go wrong with a Dosa.

Came here to take my girlfriend for dinner after she arrived from a flight from Europe. It was an excellent choice. While I sometimes write reviews concerning the atmosphere, I only do so when it is a positive statement. Food matters the most for me, and the food was excellent. My Indian girlfriend chose what to order and it was good. I appreciated the mouth refresher spice and candy mix they have for you the enjoy before you leave! Thank you for the good food!

I had a really bad experience at this restaurant. On May 28th 2023, their paneer biryani had CHICKEN pieces in it. I had explicitly asked if they prepare both types of biryani separately to which they said yes. Please beware if you are looking for vegetarian food from this restaurant. They might serve you NonVegetarian food.

One of the best place to taste Dosa at Minneapolis. Chicken Kari Dosa with Veg gravy stands out. Even Dosa, Sambhar & Chutney combination was really good. Thirunelveli Chef Florence & Manager Harsha made our Dining experience really great. This place would definitely go into my dining wish list for my future visits to Bloomington, Minneapolis.

I love trying different restaurants and this one was a big hit. I also love Indian food and know when it’s bad or good. This food was excellent! The Dosa was a big hit. I loved the Goat curry with Aloo roti and rice. Everything I had was delicious, it was fresh and spiced just right. The Service was very friendly with no frills. Just great food! This will definitely be my go too for Indian food.

This place came highly recommended to us and lived up to the hype! The dosas are huge, maybe 16-18″, and the dipping sauces are delicious. Also got the lamb vindaloo with medium spice and is just right. More spice and seasoning than other places where they just add heat for heat’s sake with no flavor. It did provide heat as well, but wasn’t overwhelming. A tip if you’re unsure about your tolerance to heat, get one of the lassis (yogurt drink, comes in mango or strawberry) and it will cut the heat much better than just water.

Outstanding food and fruity drinks. Restaurant was nice and clean. Service though was a bit slow, and they need to lose the room temperature water bottles. Back to the food: WOW really something special and I know Indian food better than most Americans. If I lived near here, would get take-out very often. Will be back for sure.
