Salem’s oldest Diner. They aren’t fancy and polished or anything. Old School Diner. I like those. A Grill Guy and one girl working. Both were as nice as they come. Love the girls area accent. They might skip a step here and there. Now and then. Like Pancakes and French Toast should be buttered at the Grill. Some nice soft butter,ready to go. Not delivered bare,with a dish of cold butter packets straight outta the fridge. One sausage had one brown stripe down one side,where it wasn’t rolled around for even browning. It was kinda raw. But it happens when dealing with real people ,and not Robots. They fixed the issue with a genuine smile . No wierd vibe. The Classic feel of the place and the friendly,down to earth nature of the staff, more than compensate for any Hiccups . I understand Weekend Doughnuts are a thing. Cooked to Order . Trying that. These are good people. Give em your business.

We’ve lived in the area for several years and just started coming here. Mad at myself for waiting so long. I saw it featured in a best eats article for the north shore, and the article was on point. The atmosphere is clean and laid back. I feel welcomed coming with my young child. The service is friendly and personable. The food is a knock out. We’ve been a few times and each time everything is great. I think about the chicken sandwich more than I would like to admit :). I’m not exactly sure where we’re meant to park but haven’t had much of an issue with finding spots. Such a great breakfast and lunch spot. Great prices and good quality homemade food!

Ever miss grandmas home cooked breakfast, but don’t feel like having to hear about all the things you aren’t doing right ? Look no further than Dotty’s. Wonderful breakfast that gives you all the yummy feels. To top of off – the owner is your chef and he’s a chip off the old block. Staff is great as well and you can enjoy their harmless banter while you start your day. Looking forward to coming back

A homie place that turns you away if all you need is a restroom. I understand their restroom is for customers only but they wouldn’t so much as offer a coffee or soda to go. Unfortunately it’s the only establishment in the vicinity so go in, sit down, and order a plate before excusing yourself to pop a squat. Or maybe they saw faces of minorities and assumed we had some ulterior motives.

A MUST VISIT! We were lucky enough to find this place and it was worth it. The portions are off the chart. The homemade hash was fantastic. Our granddaughter loved the Mickey mouse pancakes and the staff was professional, friendly, hard working, and are part of the experience. Thank you guys!
