Very charming little restaurant in Elgin, IA. The burgers we tried were very good, brisket was probably my favorite. Also awesome mule drinks with a lot of variations. Quick service and they also had pool tables and a DJ later on that night. Definitely worth a stop out. I’d check their Facebook for updates and events!!

Didn’t have any food so I can’t day anything about that. Owners are very nice and the rustic, barn-like settings is homey. They have karaoke here a lot. Small bar and no craft beer to speak of. If you’re looking for a good selection of beer here, you will not find it.

Had garlic parm wings and cheese curds. The wings were awesome but the curds…those cheese curds were the best ever! Talked to Heather for a bit and found out all her sauces are homemade. Can’t wait to go back!

Very nice service! Food and atmosphere is not bad either. Just a nice place, I liked it, but nothing to rave about.

We enjoyed the meal, reasonable price for great quality. Service was excellent. We ordered chicken tenders and chicken sandwich. Both were cooked perfectly. I think they were hand breaded, crisp and fresh. Restaurant is decorated uniquely with a hand painted mural and penny floor. Very nice experience this small town of Elgin.

We ordered two burgers and they both were raw and cold on the inside. They threw them back on the grill and and threw them back on the buns where the raw meat was sitting. Service was average. Appetizers were nothing short of simple junk bar food. Bartender struggled making simple drinks. Negative 3 stars if I could. I would recommend the water as its made to perfection.

Nice place to dine in. Food is very good. The Bourbab jam bacon burger was delicious. Very friendly waitresses. You need to eat there and support small town bussinesses.

Will never go back. We took our father there for his Birthday on a friday. The whole menu was just seafood (fish & shrimp), and one person in our group doesn’t care for seafood. Then two of us ordered the all you can eat cod. Got our meal with two pieces of fish. Asked for more later and they said they were out. Service was slow. Took 15 minutes to get the drinks (pop & water). Food was not good. Most was cold. Had cornbread for side and it was dense and not good. One person had shrimp tacos, said only like one shrimp in the taco. Was mainly just the tortilla shell. Then overheard waitress tell another table they have only appetizers and shrimp. They never told us they had appetizers and they weren’t on the menu (sheet of white paper with five menu items). The person that we told them didn’t care for seafood might had liked an appetizer but they didn’t even mention it. Not a good experience.
