Excellent food and good prices!! A big must to try is the southside coleslaw it has chili lemon seasoning it really completes the rib plate. Brisket was juicy and great flavoring….let’s just say you did not need barbque sauce!! Also, the Mac n cheese is creamy and lots of cheese. 5 stars for the food it was so good I did not even mind it is outside seating or couple of tables inside but open atmosphere….like your backyard porch. It is an excellent place. Do come out and try you won’t regret!!

This is great food and great service! The brisket is fantastic! Melts in your mouth and doesn’t need the sauce. The sides are really good also. You have to try the Southside slaw! It has great tang and taste.

Awesome little BBQ place in San Antonio. Only 10 minute drive from downtown. Absolutely delicious brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. The southside slaw was great. The star of the show was the creamed corn with brisket and slaw. You will not be disappointed.

I went today for taco Tuesday! My mom ordered 2 sausage tacos, 2 pork tacos & 5 brisket tacos. I didn’t expect pico de gallo & a sweet type of thin , light bar b w sauce I believe to be on the tacos/meats. I was kinda like hmmm idk. But I am definitely down for something new & they did not disappoint. I will be back. I placed the order inside & all 3 employees that I only saw inside were nice & carried a conversation. I will be back. I will be giving the word around that it’s delicious & worth trying!

Paid $30 for 1/2 lb of brisket and pulled pork with coleslaw. No drink. They forgot my order. Waited about 20 mins before approaching to see why they forgot my order. They gave my two tiny cups of BBQ sauce for 1 lb of bbq and the cups were not even full. The food was good.

Stopped by to try the taco Tuesday offerings and all the tacos were tasty and filling. Chopped beef, sausage and smoked turkey along with potatoe salad made for a filling dinner. The only items missing were beans and jalepenos. Due to street construction in front of the business, it was difficult getting in and out of the small parking area so be careful. Look for their messages confirming their all you can eat buffet on Sundays.

Been following this place for a bit and finally got a chance to try it out. Still on the fence after my first visit. Was the first customer of the day so got a banana cream bites which was delicious (would order that alone if it came full size). They didn’t have any beef ribs (told only on weekends) so decided to try the brisket sandwich. While overall ok, think i may try again on a weekend or try their pork ribs. Definitely worth a visit if the area if you like a tasty treat

Best bbq we had in Texas. Worth the 10 min drive from downtown – highly recommend the corn and south side slaw as sides. The pulled pork was juicy and the pork ribs had a smoky flavor unlike anything I’ve had before. Plenty of outdoor seating. 100% would go back!

These pork ribs are legit!!! The pulled pork which was delicious too. Unfortunately I got so much food that I won’t need to go for Taco Tuesday tomorrow but will go next week for sure. Also, love that it is so close to my place in Lavaca but sad that the construction on Roosevelt makes it a bit hard to find.

Tasted Double A BBQ for the first time this week. The food is FANTASTIC! We got pulled pork, brisket and ribs. All were juicy and delicious. Sides are outstanding too. We’ve been looking for a good bbq place near the area. We will be coming back often!
