Small place with locals but the pictures on the walls says they’ve been around for a bit. That says a lot about the commitment they have for serving their community and receiving the love back. Overall, the food was good and the staff very friendly.

Definitely not like the old double D, order a cheeseburger they will charge you for a deluxe. Cashiers dressed like they just rolled out of bed, not very becoming when you’re serving food. Food is still decent but if you want to pay for a $10 burger I would suggest somewhere that they actually dressed for work instead of like they just crawled out of bed ♀️

I used to have a great review of Double D Burger… I quit going there for breakfast and lunch because I always get charged more that I was told by the cashier… By about eight percent. It’s a small business, and I get it… They don’t have the infrastructure to have a perfect merchant services account. That said, the last three times I went there, I was told an amount, which was fine, then I check my account and it’s a dollar or two higher than I was told at the window. The food is pretty good, but the menu prices need to be corrected on the drive-thru sign, and the amount they say at the window should be the amount charged… Not the cash price, not before tax, not some imaginary number… The ACTUAL price. I’m probably never going back.

OMG Never Go Here… The smell is total grease. The tables and counters are filthy. I ordered one of the specials, a Philly Cheese Steak, hardly any cheese, way too many uncooked onions, canned mushrooms and a little bit of meat with dry toast!

I appreciate a drive thru for mom n pop style food so I’ll give it 4 stars. 3 stars on the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. It needed scrambled eggs. It beats any 1 star fast food biscuit any day. I’ll come back, but I think I’ll ask for scrambled eggs on the biscuit. Price for bacon egg cheese biscuit: 4.80

My family and I eat here frequently, it’s close to my university’s campus, great comfort/southern food usually. Today I was so excited for a veggie plate with their Mac and cheese and broccoli casserole only to be given cheesy rice and the largest stem of broccoli I have ever seen. No broccoli just the huge hard stalk I can’t even bite into. The green beans are crunchy/hard and tastes like they were only cooked for 60 seconds. The Mac n cheese tastes like chalk and has the consistency of chalk. Idk who’s in kitchen today but never have I EVER had food this bad. I can’t even eat my lunch. Worst time spent between classes getting food I can’t eat. Like I said, usually the food is amazing but today was horrible. So excited for broccoli casserole but was given just a big stalk with cheese on it. Super disappointed. 🙁 it’s basically the size of my hand lol

I have gone through the drive thru once or twice before, and the food was fine. This is the first time I’ve gone inside. I was greeted with smiling hello’s. It’s kinda like a buffet in that you pick and choose what you want under the glass or on a billboard. The check out was easy and friendly. The food was HOT and good. This is a good place to bring a family. It’s clean and has a family friendly atmosphere.
