The eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon was great. Biscuits and gravy were okay. The sausage left a bad taste in my mouth, ham was thick and chewy. Felt like the old days living with mom, smoking in the car with the windows rolled all the way up. A hole in the wall place for regular customers, decent food, not too pricy, not for the more modern folk!

Surprised that when I opened the door, it’s a smoking establishment. They do have a so-called smoking room. However, the door between is open. Each room (smoking/non-smoking) has a wall air conditioner so the smoke blows right into the non-smoking room. If you can tolerate cigarette smoke and aren’t allergic, then enjoy! Food was good and service was polite. Cleanliness was lacking, but maybe we arrived after lunch rush? Sadly after my review I was verbally attacked by someone associated with the establishment. Reviews are appreciate by others and some people do have breathing issues as it relates to smoke, especially cigarette smoke.

I was a bit disappointed that the Chicken Fried Steak, Home Fries and Gravy were all off the Sysco Food Services truck and not homemade. The meal was executed very well, ample portions and priced right, just not what I expect from a small hometown café.

I wish we lived close and weren’t just passing through. This place was amazing! We stopped for breakfast and everything was delicious. Service is fantastic. Derek (or maybe Derrick I didn’t ask how to spell it) was attentive and made sure everything was taken care of. Highly recommend!!!!

It’s a down home place. When we went in the place was empty but the tables had not been wiped down, and the window ledges were dirty. The interior is nice and homey. The food was the best part and worth it

Perfect little off-the-highway cafe for a bite to eat. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and very good onion rings and fries. I even treated myself to a Mello Yello. Nice folks.
