Double Front Cafe was what I didn’t know I needed. I would classify it as a chicken dive… It’s stupendous. Their chardonnay was $4/glass and their tap beers were similarly inexpensive and varied. If you hear here expecting a Sunday brunch, you’ll leave disappointed. If you come here for. A fast, delicious, cheap, delicious, unpretentious, and delicious chicken lunch it’ll be perfect. I burned my fingers at least 3 times while eating the chicken fresh out of the fryer. I knew I should wait for it to cool down – but it was really tasty and I figured the burns would be worth it.

This place is one of the best places to eat in Missoula. Don’t be in a hurry because it takes about a half hour to get your chicken but totally worth the wait time. This is some of the best fried chicken one can imagine. Everything is cooked to order and is fresh. I have been going for years and will continue to go as long as they are open. Highly recommend this place. The cheeseburgers are excellent as well. Kids meals are top notch. Everything on the menu is very good

Best fried chicken in Missoula. Awesome burgers and chicken sandwiches. They were understaffed and busy on my last visit but super friendly, and the food was hot and delicious. The atmosphere is crusty and outdated but still a good place for lunch or dinner any day.

If you’re craving chicken this is the place to go, it’s fantastic! This is not your typical restaurant chicken, frozen and thrown into the fryer. This tastes better than anything we’ve had and yes it takes a few minutes longer, but for fresh and great tasting chicken it’s worth it! The sauces are also made in house and tastes great. But no restaurant would be complete without some friendly great service and they truly delivered! Wish we weren’t just passing through Missoula as we’d be back to try the fried chicken the following day!
