This is a no-frills casual dining establishment. If you want pretty good food at a really great price this is the place to be. Not much in the way of atmosphere, and nothing I had was amazing, but it was all good. And that’s rare these days. The best thing about the establishment was the price. Some of the most affordable prices I’ve seen for causal dining in some time, and serving sizes were more than adequate. All the fried food we had was fried well and came out great. The chicken salad had really good chicken in it. The burger was done well also. The tables, when pushed against the wall, feel a little small for a party of four. On the whole, it was a very good experience.

The ambiance isn’t fancy but the food and service are FANTASTIC. If you’re in Eldon, you owe it to yourself to try it out. I always try the brisket everywhere I go and it doesn’t disappoint. My wife got the catfish and it was excellent. Save room for pie because it is to die for.

This is my first time here. The service was great. I ordered the breakfast special and it was good. Plenty of food on the plate don’t have anything negative to say. Price was on par with most places I go . But again couldn’t be happier with the service. I got coffee quick and they kept it full while I was there until I said no more. So at this moment I would recommend it.

We were looking for a place to stop on our way back from the lake! The breakfast was AMAZING large portions at a great price. Quickly prepared and the staff was so nice! This will definitely be somewhere we stop in at on our way home from now on! Picture of half of my loaded burrito!

There is nothing fresh with the food. Smoked meats are prepared and frozen. About 2 weeks later they will thaw it and warm it up in the microwave. Way over priced for the small amount you get. The owners are rude and verbally abuse there help. Will never step foot back in this establishment. Will drive to Olean to the hut for better cheaper food.

My husband and I were on our way home from the Lake and stopped in at Double J’s for breakfast. We were extremely happy with our eggs that were cooked to perfection, our hash browns that were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the ham was so good, hot & flavorful! And the coffee was excellent, hot and kept full by our very friendly & attentive waitress. Would highly recommend! Wish I’d gotten some pie to go. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Eldon!
