So impersonal . I don’t see how a waiter would get a good tip when you do your own ordering like you’re at home to get a delivery. The food took a hour for two people . The person with the most connection was the very friendly hostess who must of apologized a dozen times . I like to believe most people still like to be acknowledged and not have to think when going out . I felt like I was doing homework .people were leaving and saying well that stunk . I maybe old fashion , but not having staff smiling friendly , saying hi and maybe even give their opinion on their fav meal ,is just awful . play the game and make people feel good . I’ve been to this restaurant only a month ago and it was wonderful and raved to others that they have to go . It’s was the whole package . Some people never get spoken or care for ever and that little interaction my mean the world to them .

Great BBQ spot ! Great decor and great BBQ , corn bread was awesome. At the table are 4 styles of sauce to top off the food, and the bar area looks rustic and relaxed. Will definitely come back !

I will say that most of the issues were probably due to what seemed to be short staffing. Inaccurate order, inconsistent drinks provided, and “medium’ ordered burgers were delivered very well done. The server tried to be friendly but was rushed and distracted throughout the service.

We always stopped at the Double S diner after cutting our Christmas tree down. Too bad it is gone. So we decided to finally try the Smokehouse. Food was very good. One burger was a bit undercooked. 1 out of 5 burgers we had. But the atmosphere and staff are great. Loved the large Mason jars for drinks. Server was very attentive and prompt. We had the smoked wings, Smokehouse burgers, Boss Hog burger, Mac attack burger and the BBQ burger. All very tasty and large portions. No one finished. Wife and kids loved the hot chocolate.

Great gluten free options clearly marked on the menu. Staff was friendly. Not too crowded with both indoor and outdoor seating. Waitress did mention they’re moving locations soon, but that the new location is close by. Highly recommend!

I didn’t eat any BBQ…sorry I was here for steak. Flavor of Denver Filet was great. Nice size and thick. Food came out fast but was luke warm…probably put on cold plates. The wonderful staff greeted me within a minute and got me seated quick. Was asked for my drink order immediately. The staff worked great together. Fresh corn & zucchini was veggie. So great to get fresh cooked veggies especially in Sussex county farm land. Maybe a sprig of parsley and a creative plating of food would launch the plates up a level with no added cost. Owner should decide check out some ideas online. Great little gem in a super location.

If I could give it negative stars I would. Food is subpar. They now do the miners suite catering and it was awful. Fries were soggy and burgers were cold. The price for the food was outrageous for the quality and the amount you get. Miners really lost out when they switched to double S.

The sliced steak sandwich was really good. A friend got a burger and ordered it medium rare and it was over cooked. Not burnt but overcooked. He said it was still ok.

Went for a late lunch. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. The owner was very nice and even donated to my son’s tricky tray. My husband and I love to try different places and we will definitely be back. We had some drinks and appetizers and got dinner to go. The food was good even re-heated. I would come here again.
