For the price we paid I expected much more. I will not be returning nor recommending this diner to others. My dad was so excited to take me there and was so disappointed by the meals we received. I guess you have to be a regular to get a decent plate of food. My dad originally went with a friend of his who recieved way more food on his plate than what we got.

I was so excited to try this place. Reviews are misleading for sure. Not sure what we received but it’s supposed to be fried pickles. Burnt chicken fried steak. My order was wrong. They fixed it and it was a greasy mess. Definitely not impressed and won’t be back.

Had an hour to kill. High reviews on Google looked promising. Family staff was fantastic. Ordered a rib eye dinner. First try was over cooked..owner had them redo it.. I didn’t ask, she.offered. came back it was cooked correctly. I was told the garlic potatoes were great. I wasn’t impressed with any of the food, not even the “sweet” corn. I took the steak home to my husband, he’ll eat anything, almost lol. I can tell that they try and they care about their place and customers. I hate leaving bad reviews but it has to be done. Like I said the family running the place is amazing, customer service top notch, clean place, the quality of food needs improvement.

Update: second time I order onion rings and half of them are overcooked and almost burnt. Otherwise shrimp and catfish were very good.

I always look forward to my trips through Moody around meal time. The atmosphere and good home style cooking take me back to diners that I visited years ago.

Although the sandwich basket was tasty and plenty of fries, there were some issues with my overall experience. We asked for unsweetened tea but received sweetened tea with no unsweetened tea available. Requested mustard but only given two small packages however there was a large container of ketchup on the table with sweetener for unsweetened tea. Background music was a radio station with commercials, inappropriate for a general audience. The decor was great typical small town ambiance, and the server was attentive and understanding.

Great little diner! Cute place and our server was sweet and attentive. It was easy to eat here as a vegetarian with the variety of sides they have. I highly recommend their mac and cheese, potato salad, and sweet potato fries. And if you’re not embarrassed to order off the kids menu, they’ve got a yummy little grilled cheese. Their chips and queso were also great! We’ve eaten there twice and enjoyed it both times.

Ordered 3 Chiken Fried Steak dinners and 2 had hair in the gravy on the CFS, the baked potatoes were old and dark brown with a sour taste. Bread half toasted on one side only and so stale it was hard to even bite into. I spent 56.00 and had to eat ramen noodles for dinner. This is not acceptable. Being a food truck owner, I would NEVER allow food to leave my kitchen that looked like this. Much less use potatoes that were old and obviously recooked several times.
