We recently returned to this amazing local donut shop and, once again, were blown away by the delicious taste of their donuts. The shop offers a wide variety of flavors, each more tempting than the last. We indulged in their apple fritters and, just like the first time, it tasted like a little piece of heaven. The donut was soft, fluffy, and had the perfect balance of sweetness. We also tried their chocolate sprinkle donut again, and it was just as rich and amazing as we remembered. We will definitely be back for more.

Oh, my goodness. I’m working, so I cannot get out this morning. I did not visit this shop – but my fiancé’ did. I requested a jelly donut. He kindly brought me back TWO glazed jelly donuts. I was only expecting one donut and I planned to only eat one. But I have to tell you, those were the best jelly donuts I have ever had in my life and I’m looking forward to going back (repeatedly) to check out the place (as well as their other offerings) in person.

The signature Glazer sandwich is an interesting novelty sandwich – fried chicken & bacon on a glazed donut. I was a little disappointed. The batter was crunchy but the chicken was very dry and the bacon was crumbly and sparse. My impression of the Glazer is – tasty but dry. The mac & cheese was also dry (not creamy) – it seemed like it had been hanging around for a while. The fries were just ok. I came because this place has a lot of 5 star reviews. Maybe I hit DoughJ’s on an off day. If I go again, I’ll give the fried chicken a go.
