Stayed at the inn across the street and the clerk at the front desk recommended Doug’s. We are from Kansas and have been to many other places all over the US that have great BBQ, but the brisket here was the best we ever had. There is no rating for the atmosphere because I got it to go and ate in our room.

Doug’s was dope. After a very busy day up in Bears Ears, a big ol plate of BBQ meat and Mac and cheese was essentially the food of the Gods, delivered to me by Doug. The famous Crystal you see in other reviews was my server, and she was indeed great! Brisket was good, spicy BBQ sauce was great, ultra creamy mac & cheese was perfect. And I almost forgot the lemonade! I had the whiskey lemonade, and it hit the spot better than any other lemonade I’ve had.

The most epic of BBQ places. I had the ribs in my husband had to pulled pork. And their drinks are amazing. Also I do not know what spice rub they put on their ribs but it is to die for. I would definitely go back again a million times over! Plus the service was outstanding!

Uptown & Around
The power went out all over town one evening during our stay in Moab. We decided to take a chance and drive over 50 miles to the next town. Not only did we take in more amazing Utah scenery but the first restaurant we found served the best BBQ meal we’ve ever had. We had the melt-in-your-mouth ribs and the brisket. Sides and BBQ sauce are delicious. Portions are so big, we got to enjoy it all over again for lunch the next day! Definitely worth the drive!!

I thought Doug’s BBQ exceeded my expectations. I love BBQ food and usually most places are mediocre but Doug’s was very good. I usually am not a fan of grilled bacon because it’s usually a mix of raw and burnt but the bacon on the jalapeno poppers was very good. I got the combo plate and it was really good. The ribs included the rib tips which not everyone does, the pulled pork was really good and had good smoke flavor, and the brisket was juicy and not over cooked.

After Hiking in Canyon lands i bumped into a dude called Joe Mellen who told me about Doug’s BBQ and said it’s the best around for Burgers and Ribs , Well Joe Mellen you were not far wrong , The Food in fact is probably the best burger and ribs period ! Great meeting Ya’ll and one day i will be back .

We came in earlier than other customers, no one care or serve us. Instead the staffs ONLY serve their regular customers . We felt it was the race . Food is good except the poor customer service:(

I really enjoyed my brisket, my travel companion got the pulled pork and enjoyed it. The coleslaw was okay. Service was fast and responsive to requests. The plates look a little barren but this is a bbq place not the top of some hotel costing 400$ a night. The 4 brisket pieces, muffin and the side dish (which they really put on the side), were pleanty. To expand on the brisket, I didn’t even need to use my bbq sauce, the meat was super tender and the seasoning on the outside was definitely strong but enjoyable. I wouldn’t be upset getting this bbq anywhere, would suggest.
