Amazing and prompt service- amazing suggestions from the staff and plenty of options. I ordered the big pig omlette and the red and green chili. Bacon was cooked to perfect and cut into the perfect sized pieces. The chili’s were perfectly crafted, not spicy but a small kick. Homemade Jam was phenomenal, I had it with Rye toast, and it was so delicious. I tried the strawberry, but they were also offering mango, I believe.

This is a great restaurant to have an early breakfast. There is many options you can choose from the menu. I went with the breakfast burrito with a mixture of salsa and green chili and it was amazing. The service was excellent and seems to be not too busy making dining in faster than other places. I would highly recommend this place for those who need an early morning meal.

Great spot for breakfast and lunch. Doug’s was recommended by staff at our hotel and they were on the money. Very clean, super friendly staff and the food was a massive step above the usual diner. I had the “Favorite” omelette with hash browns, which were cooked to perfection. The biscuits are nothing short of spectacular with a choice of homemade jam. The other diners in my group were similarly impressed with their entrees. We went for breakfast twice during a 4 day visit to Boulder. The only slight drawback for us was that our table (same table both visits) was under an AC vent so it was a bit cold. I also caught a glimpse of some lunch food going to a table that looked just as excellent. Highly recommended.

I love Doug’s dinner. The Black Betty is amazing. Great atmosphere. You can even get a bloody Mary if you need one, . Very friendly staff, inside and outside seating. Very clean restaurant also. They make you feel right at home here. Well worth the visit. I have become a regular here since they opened this one by my house, used to have to drive out of town to get my Doug’s fix. I love having one right down the street.
