Had this place for the first time. The food was good and affordable the amount of food you get is definitely worth it. the restaurant was clean and service was quick. They had the lights off in the dinning room not sure why. I mean it was kinda nice to eat without so much brightness but some people might not like it. But all in all a good place for a good meal. Better money spent here then at some fast food joint. Good job!

WORST we have ever had. Where is the health department?

Look at the recent reviews before you go to this restaurant. It seems like this restaurant may have been good at one point, but it’s pretty awful now. We made the mistake of trying this restaurant just based on the overall 4 star average. However, I truly believe this place needs to be shut down. The whole group I ate with got sick from the food.

The service was great the price is good, the food that I had was ok the Mac-n-Cheese was good the meat was over sauced to the point that I couldn’t taste the meat. The pulled pork was chewy and left a burnt after taste in my mouth. The brisket was also chewy and the fat was not rendered, so it is hard for me to believe that it was cooked on a griIll.

Just left this establishment. I gave it an honest chance even after the lady taking the order was rude for no reason. Ended up getting beef/broccoli, catfish and a side of hush puppies (extra $3). Catfish was decent but had an odd smell…even for fish. Beef and broccoli was sad (the beef was extremely thin and EXTREMELY dry and smelled a little spoiled). The part that really irritates me is that the hush puppies (which she made sure to tell me I had to pay extra to get those as a side) were literally hard as rock and burnt.

The customer service is terrible. It’s like a ghost town. The lady working the front counter seems mad. I prob won’t be back just because of that. It amazes me how people who own there own business and deal with food and customer service can be so off putting to there own customers.

The first thing I heard after my order was the sound of a microwave and the brisket was prewrapped in plastic wrap. Brisket is just awful and taste like its been a week old. Ribs are the same. Taste is just pungent and just don’t come to this place.

I love the variety of food they have it’s a mix of bbq, southern & Asian. I had the catfish po boy, breaded fried okra & gyro. It was delicious. It’s a little too expensive. Service isn’t great.

I was told this place was excellent, so my wife and I ventured down to find out for ourselves. This night there was an Hispanic fellow there manning the BBQ. Honestly I was expecting a big black dude named bubba; we placed our order & surprised again this guy starting cooking and not heating up in some microwave. The portions were very sizable, the wait was far less than I expected and the food was amazing!!! My wife and I have been back 3 times since then and each tine we have not been disappointed. We returned once during the day and the owners sister was back there w/ a couple of other cooks and we had to let her know about the awesomeness of their Hispanic gem along with the rest of their staff. Keep up the good work you have very happy customers.

Friday evening, 5PM. We try to order, they have nothing prepped. No fish. No burnt ends. No jalapeno corn bread…
