Lou Malnati got his start in the 1940’s working in Chicago’s first deep dish pizzeria. He took his pizza expertise to Lincolnwood, a northern suburb of Chicago, where he and his wife Jean opened the first Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria on March 17, 1971. Lou was known for his fun-loving character as well as making Chicago’s best pizza. Loyal patrons lined the streets on opening day for a taste of his delicious deep dish creations. Lou always thought it was funny that an Italian should open a pizzeria in a Jewish neighborhood on an Irish holiday.

Have been to Lou Malnati’s in the past but not this one in particular. It was clean and the service was very friendly. Have not been to a Lou Malnati’s since my wife and I switched to a gluten free diet. Tried the gluten free pan pizza. The taste was as I remembered and it was delicious. The crust however was very hard to cut through and eat. My son, who has no dietary restrictions had a thin crust pizza. I would try the gluten free pizza again (and might hope for a different outcome) or I would try their crust free gluten free deep dish pizza.

This is by far the worst pizza I ever had. Would have rather had a generic frozen over this for the price. The dough came out burnt on bottom, the crust was inedible and hard enough to break your teeth and tasted disgusting. Sauce tasted like it was cheap can tomato sauce and overly sweet. Sausage had absolutely no taste. Lastly the cheese, what cheese?? I will never go back for this monstrosity of a let down. I and my family each had a piece and straight to the garbage it went. Don’t know what taste dead people enjoy this, but each to their own. Wish I could give negative stars.

Ordered deep pizza, NO MUSHROOMS OR TOMATOES ! That’s exactly what I didnt get ! I’m giving 3 stars because I contacted the store again on Friday 11/12/21, the Manager Graham was willing to rectify the whole situation by explaining to me the sausage is flat , thats how it comes to them . He also said; I should never order on line when I have severe allergies as I do , he refunded my $34 , compted me a complimentary pizza to try the next time .

One of the worst place to order. Better to order or goes to Naperville location. We ordered deep dish cheese pizza but got thin crust cheese. And never got replaced. Manager Graham contacted us to deliver another but lied and not done anything. Very unprofessional and no customer service. They lost us, friends and family.

Wow what happened to this place just bought 2 pizzas $75? The kids wouldn’t even eat it! Going in the garbage the cheese tastes like unflavored wax! Under cooked, no flavor at all.. whoa how do they stay open

No matter how busy they are especially weekends, the girl up front I want to say her name is Kelly… who is always there always has great customer service! Always smiling, confirming orders and having conversations making the waiting time go by pretty quick! She’s a super star and makes this my favorite location. The pizzas are pretty tasty as well. Always get uncut for best quality
