You hungry? We’re not asking if you “could eat” because if you’re planning on visiting the Downstairs Deli you’ll need to be motivated because they are going to make you work for it! Check out our first 2 pictures. Do you see ANY signage that leads you to them? They’re need for secrecy is due to the fact that @downstairsdelibreck opened during the Prohibition Period in the United States (not true). Think of them like a speakeasy…but for sandwiches.

Terrible bread. This is not your old Duggan’s Deli. Meat sliced too thick, sandwich not warmed, and the bread was awful. The bread was thick, dry, and just plain awful.

Ordered Pastrami and Swiss Cheese with extra Swiss (The Dee Dee). Got it home. No cheese whatsoever. Annoyed by the laziness/carelessness. All you do is make sandwiches. Make em right.

My first time trying their sandwich and it was really good. I love the Legend (the subs were so big!!!) You can see how they make the sandwiches here, the stuff they put in are soo a lot! Money is worth it! Freshly made bread everyday!

Amazing deli. The sandwich is so fresh and tasty. Staff is very friendly and hospitable. I went here for a quick lunch and everything was so good. It gets pretty busy because the sandwiches and subs here taste good. I recommend trying it out.
