My wife and I have been here many times with various friends & family. Simply the best food and atmosphere in Watertown, every single time we’ve gone. An absolute Gem and omg the Prime Rib and/or Delmonico steak melts in your mouth with superb flavor, just saying 😉

Great place. Fun to visit on trips. Good drinks and a rocking juke box. Everything from Sonic Youth to Future to keep the good times rolling. Fairly chill with a great entertaining owner/barkeeper. Will be back on next business trip.

Wasn’t such a friendly setting. Made me feel like I stepped into the wrong restaurant. Everyone looking at me as if I didn’t belong. Felt very unwelcomed which I’ll never order from this place ever again. I order the queen steak which I asked to be cooked well done all the way through. But it still had some pink in it. They put no utensils in my bag whatsoever. That’s what happens when the staff rushes. I guess they expected me to eat with my hands or better yet get my food and go. Which was my plans automatically. When I entered and felt the weird vibes. I should have immediately turned around and walked away. You live and you learn. I can say the mash potatoes was awesome. The corn was just bland. But it was a waste of my money and me giving this restaurant my business. It wasn’t worth the money at all. Even the dessert was not so great

Went there the other night for the first time. The poor owner was working the bar and dining area herself. Did a pretty good job, though, and was so nice. She even took a couple of moments to talk to us. Suffering from the same malady as everybody else by not finding workers. Anyway, had the Pork Osso Buco, and it was delicious. The meat fell off the bone. The salad was immense. Had the spinach artichoke dip and the Downtown Bistro dip. Both were very good. Was informed they had no deli meat when I was going to originally order the Cubano sandwich, which also removed several other options from the table, and the compressor for the beer draft system was down. Those two drawbacks were disappointing. However, the drinks we ordered were very good, and the meal was both delicious and generous. With our appetizers, meals, and drinks, the bill was only $136 for the three of us, not including a nice tip. If she gets the deli meats in I want to try the Cubano sandwich, but we’re definitely going to eat there again.
