The tamales are excellent. That’s a litmus test for me. They don’t serve them in the husk which is fine. A huge menu with a large variety. If there is something you want and it is not listed just ask them. Best for takeout and to get something quick. The food is authentic and it’s a great value for the neighborhood.

I drove 45 minutes to eat this food. The huevos rancheros really hit the spot, with it’s perfect traditional red chili sauce AND awesome price. Brings the heat but not the fire. Step inside and gorge yourself. You’ll likely meet other foodies that go out of their way to eat here.

Not impressed with the food as it was very bland and didn’t have any sauces in it. I asked for jalapenos and got 4 from a jar. I thought this was supposed to be “authentic”. I had to also ask for hot sauce which was a squeeze bottle at the counter. I’ve eaten better Mexican food in Texas.
