I frequent quite a bit. The downtown location is suffering. Help them out… There is a lady there by the name of Gloria if I remember correctly.. (not sure she had to refund an order for the long wait and the guy she refunded asked for her name.) She is here everytime, but there’s only her and 1 other employee. The last time the last was crying because she said she hasn’t been trained properly.

I got out of line to order from their kiosk, thinking it would be faster. I was informed they have tontake all orders in line first then all doordash…while I’m standing there….in person. REALLY? I was 7 people come in after me order and get their food before I did. DON’T USE THE KIOSK, ITS A TRAP!!

I always have a pleasant experience at this location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I went in during the busiest time of day with two work colleagues, we all received our sandwiches very promptly, and with no mistakes! Not that I was expecting any mistakes, It’s just worth mention as we all know it happens sometimes during crunch time. I will definitely return again!

Stopped here today to get sub on my lunch hour. Ordered and asked that the sub get run through the oven twice. Paid the lady and reminded her to put it through twice. She agreed. So 20 minutes later, she asked what I had and I again reiterated. The sandwich wasn’t in the oven. Apparently the sandwich maker never made it because it never came out of the oven. No apologies. I was running late and couldn’t wait around another 20 minutes so maybe they would make it this time.

Simply AWESOME sandwich shop in Springfield, IL with multiple locations. The downtown location is my favorite. Try the tuna on sweet bread (the shop makes its own breads) with pepper jack cheese and jalepeños toasted. Add a bag of chips and a pop. You’ll be full for the remainder of the day (and night).

amazing sandwiches ! thick-cut deli slices, wonderful bread, toasted (optional) just perfectly . big selection of Jones sodas, as well as a wide selection of soda and water at the drink fountain . nice small selection of soups and fun chip flavors too.

When I was 18 I used to go to this location when it was the bachmann kefir drugstore. I was restoring the norb Andy’s bar with the Scully crew and we we’re so covered with dirt at times they would refuse US service! The food is great and the girls that work there are the best!
