I can’t believe how bad this place was. Eel and avocado roll with NO avocado. Miso soup that tasted so strongly of seaweed, it was not edible. The fried rice was possibly the blandest thing I’ve ever tasted. How do you mess up fried rice? I saw the yelp reviews, and they were 5 star. I just don’t understand it. The pepper steak was huge slabs of raw bell pepper. Looked like it was cut by a 5 year old.

This restaurant goes above and beyond to ensure that customer satisfaction is first and foremost! This locations service and quality of food far exceeds that of the Richmond location. I have had the pleasure of meeting both Lily and Chloe and they are exceptional at their respective jobs. Chloe is a leader and sets a great example for her staff. Even when I am in Richmond I will gladly travel to the Westerly location because it is that much better!!

Good food, nice serving size, friendly service. First time trying raw sushi and the waiter recommended the Kamikaze. It was good. Definitely a place that I will return to next time I am in town.

We visited the Dragon Palace last night for dinner. We were a little concerned because the restaurant of the same name located in Wakefield is horrible. This is certainly not the case with the Dragon Palace in Westerly.

I hate to be that guest for the review I am about to give, but I had such high hopes for this restaurant and was sadly disappointed. Since it opened I have been wanting to go and today I finally treated myself to it. I was offered any seat I wanted so I chose a booth which was nice even though a friend of mine and her fiance were told they only seat 3 to a booth and that they had to sit at the bar or one of the square tables. The young lady brought over the standard chips with the sweet dip to munch on and asked me if I needed more time to look over the menu even though I had practically just sat down. I asked about MSG and if they used it in all their dishes. She didn’t know too much about it, but stated she would put in on the slip of my order just in case. I have been on a strict diet and wanted to treat myself and still stay within some healthy choices. I do not know too much about MSG myself expect that it seems to fill you up faster than you would without it. I’m not sure if they excluded it from my dish or not, but I ordered the General Taos chicken which came with a fired rice and Crab Rangoon. The order took place at 2:55. I was more impressed with how quickly the order made it to the table than the actual food. It couldn’t had been more than 5 minutes and my food was ready. I was hoping to get a nice hot meal after being out in the cold nearly all day. The wind is strong and it’s around 25 degrees outside and the windchill made it feel more like 15. When I recieved my food the Crab Rangoon was definitely cold. The center felt almost frozen in the one I ate and the other two were cold to the touch. I tried to get someones attention, which I did get, but noticed a young man sitting on the counter top while another waitress were at the bar. The waitress did provide another set suggesting that those where fresh, but it was out in under a minute which suggests to me it wasn’t fresh at all. The combination dish didn’t really have much heat to it either. Temperature was luke warm to cool with the exception of the sauce and veggies. It had probably been 10 minutes and the young waitress asked me if I needed a box. With the condition of the food and the feeling of being rushed I said “yes, that would be great” because at that point my “treat” was ruined and I didn’t want to sit there anymore. I probably had eaten 10% of my plate. My entire experience lasted maybe 20 minutes. I did overhear the waitress mention to other patrons that they don’t offer free refills which I thought was silly. I did however leave a tip which brought my total to $20.00

By far my favorite restaurant to visit! The front of house manager is always so friendly and welcoming and the food is beyond spectacular! The staff here is very well trained and I’ve never had a bad experience. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for fresh food in a great atmosphere!

My husband and I love dragon palace in Richmond RI, so we decided to give the new Westerly location a try twice. The first time when the location had just opened up about a year ago, the service and food took forever and was subpar. I recently got takeout for a shrimp tempura roll a couple weeks ago and the roll was not even made properly. There was only shrimp and a piece of cucumber in the roll. Completely lacked any flavor or substance and we most likely won’t be back.

Food was really good, service was on the slow side. Not to our servers fault, they were extremely short staffed and she was the only one waiting tables. It was the 4th of July and raining so it could have been busier than they expected. Portions were large, but much more expensive than I am accustomed. Over $100 for 3 adults and 1 child.

I had the Pork lo mein and my friend had a Tiger roll. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend it. Staff was very nice. 3/18 Every visit since has been excellent. 7/21 The drink specials are on point. Great variety and very creative but most importantly delicious.
