Great experience at The Drake. We were able to get in fairly easily for dinner Sunday night but the restaurant was packed. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the nice weather and people watching. Kale salad, fried chicken, and fish of the day were all good. Service was good and attentive. Kitchen was a bit backed up but we weren’t in a hurry!

We went to a stylish bar with a long counter, booth seats, and outdoor seats. When we arrived in the evening, most of the seats were already reserved, so I recommend making a reservation if you want to go there. We ordered Pork Bossam, Miso Cured Cod, and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. The pork belly in Pork Bossam was very soft and had a unique flavor that was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was also soft, and the cod was a light flavor with almost no miso flavor, which I thought went well with the soba. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Overall, we had a great time at this bar. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for a night out. I would definitely recommend this bar to anyone looking for a great place to eat and drink. ✨

Walked in at 7:15 asking for a table for two, they said there were reservations and were given the options for the bar or outside. Fine, we could see it was busy. We chose to sit at the bar only to find an empty table for two behind us. I asked if that was spoken for when the host walked by and she said yes, it has a reservation. By the end of our meal, the table was still empty and there were several tables that had cleared out since. Usually there’s fantastic accommodation here but it felt like they continued to give us the run around with the tables. Moral of the story, make a reservation, they hate walk ins.

DeliciousI Delicious! Delicious! The Strawberry Salad with Pork belly. Also, the Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Yummy. Fish-of-the-day were delicious Scallops. Pair those entrees with a margarita, and they are all winners. Happy I found DRAKE-Downtown. ☺️

Thank you Scott!!! Went to Drake for the first time on a work retreat dinner. There were ten of us, and our server Scott was an absolute delight!!! He was attentive and friendly and checked in on us at the perfect moments. Never too much or too little. The food was fantastic! I shared a couple of dishes with my coworkers and it was all good, but I will say the duck was my favorite! I only wish I had been able to try more of the delicious cocktails! I guess I’ll just have to come back!!! 🙂 thank you to everyone at Drake. Especially Scott. P.S. sorry we all started hanging spoons from our noses.

We drive thru Bend twice a year for about 8 years and have eaten at DRAKE almost every time. It’s a small room and it can get noisy but it’s a friendly space. This visit we both had the flat iron and it was cooked perfectly as were the asparagus – still crunchy. The pimenton aioli was terrific and added a real punch to the patas bravas which were somewhat dry and overcooked. The CdR Villages was lovely and a perfect accompaniment to the steak. Friendly, competent service and a kitchen that was firing on all cylinders. Looking forward to our return visit in October.

My team and I visited Drake while on a work retreat and we had a wonderful experience! Not only were the food and drinks delicious but the service from our server Scott was impeccable! He was the perfect balance of attentive but unobtrusive. He provided exceptional wine service that wowed us all and always kept our glasses full. We were an energetic (at times chaotic) group of ten that I’m sure would intimidate less experienced servers but he was an absolute professional through and through!

This is a very cool place to eat. It was super busy, yet the staff was very polite and attentive. Only place left to sit was the counters by the grill, so it was actually cool to see your .eal being prepared. The food was delicious. Our group ordered lunch and breakfast items, and we were all pleased. Highly recommended.

Great little pace in downtown Bend. Food was excellent! Had the Caramelized Carrot Dip as an appetizer and had the Drake Burger for meal. Both were great. I also enjoyed the Tropic Spice cocktail…yummy!
