Let’s start off with how fast the order was ready. Called for three items, Swiss omlette, tuna sandwich, and coney dog (chili, onions on side) . The order was ready in ten minutes, chatted it up with Julie who was waiting tables. She’s awesome and made sure everything was correct with my order. Very cool diner feel to the establishment with an old western playing on the tube. Got home and couldn’t be more pleased with the food, omlette was cooked just right, hash browns were crisp and the coney dog was grilled to perfection. The chili was just what I needed. Thanks for the great lunch, and for Julie taking care of me. 10/10

I had the breakfast special which was very good. The hash browns were cooked to perfection. Drakes ham is the most tender ham I’ve ever had. The pic is the Sausage Patty Breakfast, absolutely delicious.

First timer. Did a call in order, lady on the phone sounded like she had a little sass in her voice but I blew it off. Went to go pick the food up and the place was very small but I liked it. It’s family owned and could tell which I liked. The lady in the kitchen was very warm welcoming. The lady who rang me up might have been the same lady on the phone bcuz she didn’t greet me she just said you got the call In. Than when I said yes I wanted the receipt it seemed like she was annoyed. Now I have worked in the food industry so I understand if she was having a bad day and I happen to be the person that noticed. But it showed in service. The food was good I just wish they had squeeze cheese lol. But I would recommend this place if someone wanted a quick lunch stop.

Most places I go, the corned beef hash is mushy and greasy. Here, it was crisp and delicious. Everything was cooked great, staff is super friendly, good portions, good prices, and it was all what you’d hope for in a small diner. I’ll be back again for sure.

We are from Northern Michigan, but we needed to have breakfast and spotted this little diner. Turns out the food is good and others are right, every one knows each other. The prices are low compared to other places we have been to. Surprised us that without telling us, they charged .50 cents extra for Texas Toast, and tried to pawn grape jelly off on us. It’s not easy for these “Mom and Pop businesses to pay the bills. I would raise the prices and be more generous with the jelly choices and not charge unless you inform the customer.

I was surprised by this little spot, but I’m glad we stopped in. My 3 yr old loved her Mickey mouse pancakes. They brought her plate out before the rest of our food. I loved that because she gets antsy just sitting there and she takes a while to eat. I ordered breakfast and husband ordered a burger. Both meals were great. Hashbrowns nice and crispy. My husband’s burger had nice sear from the flat top. Server was friendly and accommodating. We will be back for more home cooking in this diner.

Just had breakfast there and it was absolutely delicious! I had the Spanish Omlette and my husband had Drakes Omlette. They were both amazing! Prices are beyond fair and the service is friendly and fast. It’s one of those great little places where the owners and servers love and appreciate their customers! We will definitely be back!

Place is literally a hole in the wall. Needs updating badly. My table had a piece of tape on it holding a piece of wood in place. It was also sticky. I felt like the creamers could’ve been expired. I ordered eggs Benedict which was decent. The sausage links were very good. The hashbrowns were also very good. The coffee was good. But I didn’t care for the sauce the cook put on my eggs, I couldn’t finish eating them because of that. The people are really nice though, otherwise I would’ve given only 2 stars. If you’re in a bind and really hungry, this isnt a terrible breakfast place.

This was my first time in a Michigan small time cafe. Meaning from fist look you might just drive right by. Don’t this place floored me!! The food is AMAZING, a very welcoming staff greeting you as you walk in the door. As for prices I can’t believe how much Food come’s on your plate ! As for my husband He said it was the best meal he had had”as i was thinking me too”:) Anyways if you get the chance I know you’ll love it!!
